Day Operations. 9.02 The normal workweek for employees shall be thirty-seven and one- half (37 1/2) hours worked during the period Monday to Friday. The normal workday shall begin at 08:15 hours and end at 16:25 hours, with a normal lunch period of forty (40) minutes per day.

Day Operations. The secondee will initially report to [insert name] at the Client (this may change during the period of the secondment). The secondee will work during normal office hours of [insert] to [insert] and such additional hours as the Client may reasonably require. These hours will normally be worked at the Client’s offices at [insert address] The secondee shall at all times be under the day-to-day control and supervision of, and take instructions from [insert name] at the Client and comply with relevant office procedures and working practices; and shall in addition be responsible through [insert name] at the Client to the Treasury Solicitor and Head of the Government Legal Service, and through the Treasury Solicitor, to the Attorney General as the Government’s chief legal adviser. The Client will, if requested by the Solicitor, provide such performance and appraisal reports on the secondee as may be reasonably required by the Solicitor. The Solicitor will be responsible for carrying out any appraisal or annual review required by its policies or the secondee’s terms of employment. If internal proceedings in relation to performance, conduct, incapacity or attendance are necessary these shall be carried out by the Solicitor. The Client will provide such information as the Solicitor may reasonably require for these purposes.

Day Operations. During the 1998 negotiations, the Company and the Union had lengthy discussions regarding the possibility of the Company operating a regular seven (7) day per week work schedule. The Company advised that it may be necessary or desired for it to work seven (7) days per week in order to meet the needs of the business. During the term of this Agreement, the Company and the Union agreed to meet, if requested by either the Company or the Union, to attempt to establish a seven (7) day per week operating schedule and any other Collective Agreement language that would need to be amended in order to effect a seven (7) day schedule. In this event, both parties will make reasonable effort and bargain in good faith to reach an agreement for language in this regard. Final agreement in this undertaking would be subject to membership approval.

  • Business Operations Company will provide all necessary equipment, personnel and other appurtenances necessary to conduct its operations. Company will conduct its business operations hereunder in a lawful, orderly and proper manner, considering the nature of such operations, so as not to unreasonably annoy, disturb, endanger or be offensive to others on the Airport. Company will provide all services under this Agreement on a fair and reasonable basis to all users of the Airport. Service will be prompt, courteous and efficient.

  • Interim Operations (a) The Company covenants and agrees as to itself and its Subsidiaries that, from and after the execution of this Agreement and prior to the Effective Time (unless Parent shall otherwise approve in writing, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed, and except as (1) required by applicable Law, (2) expressly required by this Agreement or (3) otherwise expressly disclosed in Section 6.1(a) of the Company Disclosure Letter), the Company shall use its reasonable best efforts to conduct its business and the business of its Subsidiaries in the ordinary course of business consistent with past practice and each of the Company and its Subsidiaries shall, subject to compliance with the specific matters set forth below, use reasonable best efforts to preserve its business organization intact and maintain the existing relations and goodwill with Governmental Entities, customers, suppliers, distributors, licensors, creditors, lessors, employees and business associates and others having material business dealings with it and keep available the services of the Company and its Subsidiaries’ present employees and agents. Without limiting the generality of, and in furtherance of, the foregoing, the Company covenants and agrees as to itself and its Subsidiaries that, from and after the date of this Agreement and prior to the Effective Time, except (A) as required by applicable Law, (B) as Parent may approve in writing (such approval not to be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed), (C) as expressly disclosed in Section 6.1(a) of the Company Disclosure Letter or (D) as expressly provided for in this Agreement, the Company shall not and will not permit any of its Subsidiaries to:

  • Safe Operations Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, an NTO may take, or cause to be taken, such action with respect to the operation of its facilities as it deems necessary to maintain Safe Operations. To ensure Safe Operations, the local operating rules of the ITO(s) shall govern the connection and disconnection of generation with NTO transmission facilities. Safe Operations include the application and enforcement of rules, procedures and protocols that are intended to ensure the safety of personnel operating or performing work or tests on transmission facilities.

  • Shift Operation When a three (3) shift operation is established by the Employer, the following conditions will apply: Those employees working on the day shift shall work eight (8) hours at the straight time rate. Those employees working on the afternoon shift shall work seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours per shift. A shift differential of one-seventh (1/7) shall be paid for all normal scheduled shift hours worked. Those employees working on the night shift shall work seven (7) hours per shift. A shift differential of one-fifth (1/5) shall be paid for all normal scheduled shift hours worked.

  • Emergency Operations 6:01 In the event of an emergency which could endanger the health or safety of the public, employees shall unite to meet the emergency and shall, until the danger has been brought under control, perform such duties as may be required of them regardless of their occupation.
