Holiday Hours. For the purpose of computing overtime, the first eight (8) holiday hours (worked or not worked) for which an employee is compensated (in cash or with compensatory time off) shall be regarded as hours worked.

Holiday Hours. For the purposes of this article, ‘holiday’ is defined in twenty-four (24) hour increments. For example: for a shift beginning at 10:00 pm on December 24 and ending at 6:00 am on December 25th, a Bargaining Unit Employee will receive their regular rate of pay for the first two (2) hours of the shift and holiday pay for the last six (6) hours of the shift.
