Human Rights Training. The Company and the Union will put together a training session requiring joint facilitation at every new hire orientation. One (1) hour of mandatory annual refresher training will be jointly conducted on site thereafter.

To ensure that all employees understand their rights and obligations under Article 1, Section 1.03 and Article 20, Section 20.10 of the Collective Agreement, the Company agrees to provide one (1) day of training for Management and Union representatives within six (6) months of the signing of this Agreement. Moreover, providing fair and equitable treatment for all employees is best achieved in an environment where all individuals interact with mutual respect for each other’s rights. Human Rights Training is a fundamental step in the parties’ joint activities. Accordingly, upon ratification, appropriate paid training of up to three (3) hours duration, will be provided to all current employees and employees hired after ratification of this Agreement. This training shall include elements such as: ● Human rights awareness ● Company and Union policies regarding equality in employment ● The complaint procedure.
Human Rights Training. The Company and the Union will put together a mutually agreed upon two (2) hour Human Rights training program for all Tillsonburg employees. Employees will take such training within two (2) years of ratification.

The Company agrees that it will provide, on a one time basis, up to two (2) hours without loss of pay for the union bargaining committee to attend Human Rights Training to be provided by the union. The Company will make available a suitable meeting room for the use of such training upon reasonable notice from the union. Supervisory and management employees of the Xxxxxxx shall likewise be entitled to attend such training pro- gram.

The Company and the Union agree to a one day human rights joint training session for stewards and supervisors to be conducted by a third party agreed upon by the Company and the Union. Supervisors and stew- ards will be paid their regular rate exclusive of premiums for the day of training. This training will held within three months of ratification, which time limit may be extended by mutual agreement.

The National Union will oversee the spending of this fund. If at the end of any given year Page the entire has not been used, the balance will be carried over into the next year. Any money not used by expiration of the contract will be converted into an employee fund. The plant committee will be in charge of this fund. Social Justice The Company will allocate each year of the contract.
