Holiday Pay Rate. If a full-time employee works on one (1) of the above-named designated holidays, she shall receive payment at two (2) times for the hours actually worked by her in addition to receiving her holiday pay or a day off in lieu of said holiday, such day to be taken on a day mutually agreeable to the employee and the Board. It is understood that no such request for time off shall be unreasonably denied. If a part-time employee works on one of the above-named designated holidays, she shall receive payment at two (2) times for the hours actually worked by her in addition to receiving payment in lieu in accordance with Article 22.01 (d).

Holiday Pay Rate. Eligible employees will receive eight hours’ pay at their regular hourly rate. An employee who is scheduled or requested to work on the day any recognized holiday in Section 18.2 is observed will be credited with compensatory time at the rate of one and one-half times his/her regular hourly rate for all hours worked in addition to receiving holiday pay (if otherwise eligible) pursuant to Section 18.3. Employer will determine the employee’s preference as between compensatory time off or pay and will compensate accordingly.
Holiday Pay Rate. The Employer shall pay to each Employee six point six seven percent (6.67%) of their gross wages in lieu of Statutory Holiday entitlement.

  • Holiday Pay A. On each of the holidays designated above, each full-time employee scheduled to work but permitted to take the day off shall receive pay computed at the employee's basic hourly rate for the number of hours the employee was regularly scheduled to work.

  • Sunday Premium All hours worked by an Employee on Sunday, shall be paid for on the basis of one and one-half (1½) times the Employee’s Regular Rate of Pay.   • Holiday Premium Pay A Nurse working on a recognized Holiday is entitled to the following compensation for any hours worked on the calendar date of the recognized Holiday:

  • Y-Rate The Board of Supervisors may adopt a Y-rate to apply to: (1) an employee who would suffer an actual decrease in salary as a result of action taken by the County, without fault or inability on the part of the employee, or (2) an employee who is changing from one (1) class series to another, as a normal consequent of career development through the County's upward mobility program, and the salary of the class the employee enters in the new class series is less than the salary the employee was receiving in the former class. A Y-rate means a salary rate, for an individual employee, which is greater than the established range for the class.

  • Statutory Holiday Pay Employees who qualify for statutory holiday pay shall be paid an average day's pay on the Statutory Holidays above, based on the following: amount paid / days worked. “Amount paid” is the amount earned by the employee for work done during the thirty (30) calendars day period preceding the statutory holiday, including vacation pay but excluding overtime pay. “Days worked” is the number of days the employee worked or earned wages during that thirty (30) calendar day period.
