Social Justice Fund. 38.01 The Employer shall contribute one cent (1¢) per hour worked to the PSAC Social Justice Fund and such contribution will be made for all hours worked by each employee in the bargaining unit. Contributions to the Fund will be made quarterly, in the middle of the month immediately following completion of each fiscal quarter year, and such contributions remitted to the PSAC National Office. Contributions to the Fund are to be utilized strictly for the purposes specified in the Letters Patent of the PSAC Social Justice Fund.

Such monies are to be paid on a quarterly basis into the fund established by its Board of Directors and sent by the Company to the following address:

Social Justice Fund. The Company will contribute one cent (1¢) per hour worked to the CAW Social Justice Fund and such contribution will be made for straight time hours worked only and will not be made for over time hours or premium hours. Hours not worked, even though compensated in accordance with a specific provision of the Agreement and deemed to be hours worked for other purposes, shall not be considered to be hours worked for purposes of this Fund. The Fund is a registered non-profit charity which contributes to Canadian and international non-partisan, non- governmental relief and development organizations. Social Justice Fund. 30.01 The Company agrees to establish a Social Justice Fund, the purpose of which is to provide financial assistance to such entities as food banks, registered Canadian charities and international relief measures to assist the innocent victims of droughts, famines and other dislocations.
