Workplace Relations Training. Within five months of the execution of this Undertaking, organise and ensure training of Xx Xxxxxx Chief Executive Officer/Company Secretary and all persons engaged by the Employer who have managerial responsibility for human resources, recruitment or payroll functions (Training). Ensure the Training relates to compliance with all applicable Commonwealth workplace laws and instruments, including but not limited to the FW Act, and the Agreement. Ensure the Training is conducted by an accredited workplace trainer such person or organisation to be approved by the FWO and paid for by the Company. Provide the training materials to be used in the Training to the FWO no later than fourteen (14) days before the Training is to be conducted. Provide evidence of attendance at the Training to the FWO within seven (7) days of the Training being provided (including the name and position of all attendees and the date on which the Training was attended). No Inconsistent Statements The Employer and Xx Xxxxxx: must not; and must ensure that each of the Employer’s officers, employees or agents, do not, make any statement, orally or in writing or otherwise imply anything that is inconsistent with admissions or acknowledgements contained in this Undertaking. Acknowledgements The Employer and Xx Xxxxxx acknowledge that: the FWO may make this Undertaking (including any attachments) available for public inspection, including by posting it to its website at xxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx.xx (subject to the FWO taking any necessary steps to redact the names of individuals not party to the Undertaking); the FWO may release a copy of this Undertaking pursuant to any relevant request under the Freedom of Information Xxx 0000 (Cth); the FWO may issue a media release in relation to this Undertaking and from time to time, publicly refer to the Undertaking and its terms; the admissions made in the Undertaking may be relied upon by the FWO in respect of any future decision about enforcement action to be taken in relation to any future non-compliance with Commonwealth workplace relations obligations by the Employer and/or Xx Xxxxxx; consistent with the Note to Section 715(4) of the FW Act, this Undertaking in no way derogates from the rights and remedies available to any other person arising from the conduct set out in this Undertaking; if the FWO considers that the Employer has contravened any of the terms of this this Undertaking the FWO may apply to any of the Courts set out in section 715(6) of the F...

Workplace Relations Training. Within 100 Business Days of the commencement of this Deed, JB Group will design and implement an ongoing training program so that all persons who are employed by JB Group are made aware of their rights and entitlements pursuant to Commonwealth Workplace laws (Employee Training). Within 100 Business Days of the commencement of this Deed, JB Group will design and implement an ongoing training program so that all persons who hold management positions are made aware of their workplace obligations pursuant to Commonwealth Workplace laws (Management Training). The Employee Training will include material on: JB Group’s obligations under the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and Fair Work Instruments, including in particular the General Retail Industry Award 2010; the requirements of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and the General Retail Industry Award 2010 with respect to part-time employees and the rights and entitlements of part-time employees; JB Group’s procedures and policies with respect to hours of work and variation of hours of work for part-time employee; and the options available to persons to make complaints, for example, references to the complaints process in the Deed and FWO’s procedures to lodge a complaint. The Management Training will include material on: JB Group’s obligations under the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and Fair Work Instruments, including in particular the General Retail Industry Award 2010; the requirements of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and the General Retail Industry Award 2010 with respect to part-time employees and the rights and entitlements of part-time employees; accessorial liability under section 550 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth); and JB Group’s procedures and policies with respect to hours of work and variation of hours of work for part-time employees. JB Group will provide the proposed materials to be used in the Employee Training and the Management Training to the FWO no later than 20 Business Days before the first training session commences so that the FWO can make any suggestions for amendments to the content of the training to be discussed with JB Group in a timely manner. Matters notified to the FWO Where the FWO receives a RFA from an employee or former employee of the Company regarding non-compliance with the relevant Award or legislative requirement the FWO will, at its discretion and subject to the below paragraph regarding serious non-compliance, notify the Company and its officers and provide relevant details; Where a matter is notified to the Company it will undertake to fully co-operate with the FWO to ensure compliance. Workplace Relations Training. Within 90 days of the execution of this Undertaking, organise and ensure workplace relations training (the Training) is undertaken by the Director, General Managers and Deputy General Managers of the Company and all other persons who have responsibility for human resources, recruitment or payroll functions; Ensure the Training relates to compliance with applicable Commonwealth of Australia workplace laws and instruments, including but not limited to the rights and responsibilities of employers under the FW Act and the Award; Ensure that the Training incorporates the seriousness of giving false and misleading information under the Criminal Code (Cth) as well as information regarding the systematic conduct of underpayment that affects one or more employees; Ensure the Training is conducted by a workplace trainer, such person or organisation to be approved by the FWO and paid for by the Company; Provide the training materials to be used in the Training to the FWO no later than 14 days before the Training is to be conducted; Provide evidence of attendance at the Training to the FWO within 7 days of the Training being provided (including the name and position of all attendees and the date on which the training was attended); Ensure that Training is conducted in the manner prescribed in paragraphs 11.3 b) and c) for a period of 12 months from the execution of this Undertaking, for any new or existing employees or contractors who acquire responsibilities that include human resources, recruitment or payroll functions on behalf of the Company. The Company must provide evidence of the Training to the FWO, within 90 days of the relevant employee or contractor taking on responsibility for the functions.

  • First Aid Training a) The Employer will encourage employees to take first-aid and refresher courses and for this purpose will assume the cost of first-aid training. Employees selected by the Employer for first-aid training shall be granted time off without loss of pay.

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Workplace Safety The parties to this Agreement commit themselves to achieving the highest possible standards of occupational health and safety including adherence to the consultative and issue resolution processes included herein. Participation in and support for building and construction industry initiatives to improve construction industry standards in occupational health and safety will form an important part of this commitment. Observance of relevant Acts, Regulations, and Codes of Practice are the minimum level acceptable to enable employers and employees to meet their responsibilities and to work safely and follow health and safety rules in their workplace. On all sites there will be developed a site safety plan and job specific ‘job safety analysis’ to identify and manage the risks associated with work on each particular site. Such safety plan will include suitable procedures for personnel/material access, and site evacuation procedures. The Incolink Safety Handbook ‘SAFE’ (as amended) is endorsed by this Agreement as a proper guide and reference source for safety management and control of risks.

  • Workplace Bullying Bullying for the purpose of this Article is any repeated or systemic behaviour which may be either physical, verbal or psychological including shunning, which would be seen by a reasonable person as intending to belittle, intimidate, coerce or isolate another person. Personal harassment and/or bullying does not include acceptable social banter in the workplace. Nor does it include actions occasioned through the exercise in good faith of management’s rights for bona fide operational requirements or progressive corrective discipline in a manner that is respectful of those involved.

  • Workplace Violence (a) It is recognized that at certain worksites or in certain work situations employees may be at risk of physical violence or verbal abuse from clients, persons in care or custody, or the public.

  • WORKPLACE BEHAVIOR 3.1 The University, the Union and employees covered by this Agreement agree that all employees should work in an environment that fosters mutual respect and professionalism. The parties agree that inappropriate behavior in the workplace by or against employees, students, or members of the public does not promote the University’s mission, employee wellbeing, or productivity. All employees are responsible for contributing to such an environment and are expected to treat others with courtesy and respect.
