TIME EMPLOYEES. The County shall contribute $184.00 per biweekly pay period on behalf of each regular part-time employee enrolled in the Flexible Benefit Program. Pursuant to Section 4.2 of that Program, employees may reduce their pay to be allocated as flexible credits (including the payment of health insurance premiums) for the plan year. Regular part-time employees, for these purposes only, shall be defined as those employees who work no fewer than the equivalent of 40 hours, but less than 60 hours, per biweekly pay period. Effective March 30, 2014, the County’s contribution shall increase to $196.00 per biweekly payroll period. Effective December 7, 2014, the County’s contribution shall increase to $208.00 per biweekly payroll period.

Sec. 703 ENROLLMENT: An employee, once enrolled in a Flexible Benefit option, shall be required to remain in said plan option for the remainder of the plan's fiscal year or until an appropriate enrollment period is declared. Sec. 704 CONTINUATION OF HEALTH PLAN: Should an employee exhaust his or her sick leave, vacation, or annual leave and go on medical or maternity leave of absence without pay, the County agrees to continue to make its contribution to the health insurance option in which the employee is enrolled, for thirteen (13) biweekly pay periods. The number of hours of compensation upon which payment of this premium is based shall be the number of hours in the employee's regular work schedule in the pay period immediately preceding the placement of the employee on leave of absence without pay. All Flexible Benefit options other than health insurance coverage are discontinued during any leave of absence without pay. An employee receiving compensation in lieu of disability under Section 4850 of the California Labor Code shall not be governed by this provision and shall continue to receive all Flexible Benefit contributions and options while in that status. Sec. 705 ASSOCIATION-MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE: The parties agree to the continuation of a joint management/labor health care cost containment committee. Such committee shall meet quarterly for the purpose of discussing cost containment alternatives and expansion of Flexible Benefits Program options, reviewing financial progress of the health plans, and assisting in educational activities.
TIME EMPLOYEES. A Cook is defined as a full-time employee who works the established hours in the department, or averages not less than six (6) hours per day.

TIME EMPLOYEES. A unit member who works regularly scheduled hours of 2080 hours per year, exclusive of overtime.
