Helpful Listen and focus on what we can do Imagine new futures and look for new opportunities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide administrative support to the Department including data input, general word processing and document processing, electronic data management, filing and responding to customer requests for assistance. Obtain and distribute mail and internal correspondence. Provide routine information including general reception and telephone duties. Apply established practices and procedures of an administrative nature. To perform a range of administrative functions associated with the administration of relevant Acts and Regulations. Develop a sound knowledge of the operations and responsibilities of the Department to ensure assistance and information given is accurate. Provide information relating to the operations of the Department, using established sources of information. Carry out duties, as required, consistent with classification level. WHS RESPONSIBILITIES: Observe and comply with all health and safety policies and procedures within the City of Salisbury including all safe operating procedures or instructions. Take all reasonable steps to ensure personal safety and that of others is not put at risk through any act or omission in relation the above. Report any identified hazards, incidents including near misses or injuries which arise in the course of work, using the systems and/or documentation available for such reporting. Fulfil individual requirements to meet any documented WHS objectives arising from biannual performance and development reviews. Not endanger personal safety or that of others by undertaking work whilst under the influence of alcohol or a drug in breach of Council’s Drug and Alcohol Policy. Undertake WHS training where required, in order to perform duties (refer to WHS Competency Assessment).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Work Practices - Undertake automotive repairs to all aspects of Council’s plant and equipment, including diagnosis of problems, repairs and testing. Areas in which skills and knowledge are required are diesel and petrol engines, basic hydraulics, basic automotive electrical, transmissions and small petrol/two stroke engines. Works undertaken in a tradesman like manner. - Undertake minor welding repairs to Council’s plant and equipment. - Maintain a clean and tidy personal work area and assist with general cleaning duties in a workshop environment. - Utilization of hand tools, welding/cutting equipment and all safety equipment when working with or near hazardous materials. - Maintain a daily record of all work task and materials on a Job Card. - Undertake operational duties as required that may include operation of other plant or equipment where suitably licensed and experienced. - Work under minimal supervision and where required, assistance is available from the Senior Leading Worker/Coordinator. - Other duties as required from time to time, as per direction. • Human Resources - Encourage and support industrious, harmonious and team oriented work groups. - Assist in the identification of training needs. - Assist in coaching and training staff, including apprentices, trainees and casuals, to develop work skills and increase efficiency. • Administration - Ensure correct accounting for labour, equipment and materials by maintaining accurate up-to-date records as required by management, ie time sheets, weekly work sheets, Job Cards, etc… This may require the use of computer software to record and access informat...

Values and Behaviours. All 10 Healthwatch in Greater Manchester have signed a Collaborative Agreement detailing how they will work together to achieve the objectives detailed in the HW in GM All-age Strategy 2022-25. That agreement includes an explicit commitment to the seven principles of public life, known and the Xxxxx Principles. In addition the leaders of the 10 Healthwatch have committed to behaving consistently in ways which model and promote shared values. Specifically: • We are leaders of our individual organisations, in our place-based localities and of Healthwatch in Greater Manchester. • We support each other and will work collaboratively. • We act with honesty and integrity and trust each other to do the same. • We challenge constructively when we need to and assume good intentions. • We hold each other to account for achieving our objectives. The HW in GM Network considers this PA an extension of how local Healthwatch want to work together.

  • Behaviour No obscene or insulting language or disorderly behaviour shall be permitted. This includes any form of entertainment that may be considered lewd or inappropriate for a public place or that may offend or cause embarrassment to others.

  • WORKPLACE BEHAVIOR 3.1 The University, the Union and employees covered by this Agreement agree that all employees should work in an environment that fosters mutual respect and professionalism. The parties agree that inappropriate behavior in the workplace by or against employees, students, or members of the public does not promote the University’s mission, employee wellbeing, or productivity. All employees are responsible for contributing to such an environment and are expected to treat others with courtesy and respect.

  • Unsafe Working Conditions (a) No Employee shall be disciplined for refusal to work on a job which is deemed unsafe by:

  • Workplace Violence (a) It is recognized that at certain worksites or in certain work situations employees may be at risk of physical violence or verbal abuse from clients, persons in care or custody, or the public.

  • Violence (a) The parties agree that violence shall be defined as any incident in which an employee is abused, threatened or assaulted while performing his or her work. The parties agree it includes the application of force, threats with or without weapons and severe verbal abuse. The parties agree that such incidents will not be condoned. Any employee who believes he/she has been subjected to such incident shall report this to a supervisor who will make every reasonable effort to rectify the situation. For purposes of sub- article (a) only, employees as referred to herein shall mean all employees of the Employer.

  • Safe Working Conditions The Employer undertakes to maintain office furniture, equipment, etc., in a practical and safe condition in order to avoid injury to employees or damage to their attire. Employees, for their part and in their own interest, are expected to advise the Employer of any such potentially injurious equipment.

  • Catastrophic Leave The County will administer a Catastrophic Leave procedure designed to permit individual donations of annual leave, vacation, healthcare leave (8 hours maximum per fiscal year), compensatory and/or PIP leave time to an employee who is required to be on an extended unpaid leave due to a catastrophic medical condition or other serious circumstances.

  • Safe Workplace A) The Employer and employees recognize the need for a safe and healthful workplace and agree to take appropriate measures in order that risks of accidents and/or occupational disease are reduced and/or eliminated. Employers will take all reasonable steps to eliminate, reduce and/or minimize threats to the safety of employees.

  • Union Orientation During orientation of newly hired Nurses, the Employer will allow up to thirty (30) minutes for a representative of the Local Union to speak with the newly hired Nurses.
