Union Orientation. During orientation of newly hired Nurses, the Employer will allow up to thirty (30) minutes for a representative of the Local Union to speak with the newly hired Nurses.
Union Orientation. Where the Employer has a structured employee orientation program, the Union shall be permitted to make a presentation not to exceed thirty (30) minutes in duration regarding the Union. The Employer shall notify the Union of newly hired employees at reasonable intervals, but no later than before a scheduled orientation.
Union Orientation. A new employee will have the opportunity to meet with the representative of the union in the employ of the Hospital for a period of up to fifteen (15) minutes during the employee’s orientation period without loss of regular earnings. The purpose of the meeting would be to acquaint the employee with such representative of the union and collective agreement. Such meetings may be arranged collectively or individually for employees by the Hospital as part of the orientation program. The Hospital shall advise the Union on a monthly basis of:
Union Orientation. Where the Employer/University Administration provides an orientation program for new employees, one hour shall be allotted to the Union and to the new unit employees during which time a Union representative may discuss the Union with the employees.
Union Orientation. The Employer shall provide the President or Chief Xxxxxxx the names of new employees by the end of the month in which employment commences. An elected Table Officer, Xxxxxxx, or Staff Representative or designate shall have up to fifteen (15) minutes at a time mutually agreeable with the Employer, to acquaint new employees falling within the scope of this Agreement with the fact that a Collective Agreement is in effect and to indicate the general conditions and obligations as they relate to employees.
Union Orientation. Two working days before each new employee orientation session occurs a designated Union Xxxxxxx will be sent via email the most current list of SEIU bargaining unit employees scheduled to attend new employee orientation. At the time of new employee orientation the Employer will provide the Union Stewards with the complete list of names of those employees attending that orientation. Up to two (2) Union Stewards will attend new employee orientation to speak to new SEIU-represented employees for up to one hour, the actual time slot to be determined by the orientation schedule. Additional time may be agreed upon from time to time if mutually agreed between Human Resources and the Union Stewards.
Union Orientation. 39.1 During new employee orientation, AFSCME shall meet with bargaining unit eligible employees concerning the benefits and obligations of being a union member of AFSCME and provide new employees a pack of union information. The University of Toledo shall also provide the Union with an updated list of new hires after each new employee orientation.
Union Orientation. The District shall permit a Union-designated representative to meet with each newly hired employee within the first fourteen (14) calendar days of the new employee’s first day of employment. This meeting shall occur during the newly hired employee’s regularly scheduled hours of work and the employee shall be in pay status. This meeting is not to interfere with the new employee’s normal work and will normally occur during a break or briefly at the beginning or end of a shift. The District shall provide new employees with the name and contact information for the Union xxxxxxx. The District shall also give each new employee a Union orientation packet prepared by the Union.
Union Orientation. New employees will be allowed up to one hour with pay for an orientation with a union official regarding the collective agreement. Where more than one employee is attending the orientation, the union shall be allowed two hours for orientation. This orientation does not apply to students.
Union Orientation. The County shall allow Union representative(s) and/or Chapter Board Officer fifteen (15) minutes of the agenda during the departmental, Xxxxxxxxx Medical Center (NMC) and County-wide New Employee Orientation to provide information regarding the benefits and obligations of Union membership. The County and the Union representative(s) shall not malign either party, its employees or officials. Current County employees transferring into a classification represented by this Union shall be authorized to attend either the departmental or County-wide New Employee Orientation. The County shall provide the Union with a monthly list of all SEIU 521 represented new hires, to include employees’ classification, department, bargaining unit of those scheduled to attend the County-wide New Employee Orientation.
