STATUTORY AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS. The Contractor shall familiarize himself and comply with all Federal, State and local laws, ordinances and regulations, which in any manner affect those engaged or employed in the, work, the materials or equipment to be used, or the conduct of the work. No plea or misunderstanding will be considered because of ignorance of the law. If the CONTRACTOR observes that the Specifications or Drawings are at variance therewith, he will give the Township prompt written notice thereof, and any necessary changes shall be adjusted by an appropriate modification.
