State Law. This Agreement is made under, and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Connecticut.
State Law. This Agreement shall be construed and enforced in accordance with and governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
State Law. The Agreement is established under, and will be construed according to, the laws of the state of New Jersey, to the extent such laws are not preempted by the Act and valid regulations published thereunder.
State Law. To the extent not governed by the Code or ERISA, the provisions of this Agreement shall be construed and interpreted according to the internal law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without regard to its conflicts of laws principles.

Contractor shall not be relieved by the terms of this contract of any liability to the United States for fire suppression costs recoverable in an action based on State law, except for such costs resulting from Operations Fires. Amounts due Contractor for fire fighting expenditures in accordance with H.4.1 shall not be withheld pending settlement of any such claim or action based on State law.
