Any modification, alteration, amendment, change, or extension of any term, provision, or condition of this Contract permitted by this Contract shall be made by written amendment to this Contract, signed by the CONTRACTOR and the STATE, provided that change orders shall be made in accordance with paragraph 20 herein.

All requests for leave of absence under this Article shall be in writing to the Department Manager, or her designate, in as far advance as practicable and in any event, subject to leave of absence requests for personal emergencies, no fewer than thirty (30) calendar days prior to commencement of the requested leave of absence.
