PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT. 1.01 The purpose of this agreement is to maintain harmonious and mutually beneficial relationships between the Employer, the employees and the Union, to set forth certain terms and conditions of employment relating to remuneration, hours of work, employee benefits and general working conditions affecting employees covered by the agreement and to ensure that all reasonable measures are provided for the safety and occupational health of the employees. 1.02 The parties to this Agreement share a desire to improve the quality, promote the well- being and increase the productivity of the employees to the end that Nunavut will be well and efficiently served. Accordingly, the parties are determined to establish, within the framework provided by law, an effective working relationship at all levels in which members of the Bargaining Unit are employed.
PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT. The purpose of this Agreement is to provide orderly collective bargaining procedures between the Company and the Union, to secure prompt and equitable disposition of grievances and to prevent interruptions of work and interferences with the efficient operation of the Company's business.

PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT. To fulfill the purposes provided in Indiana Code § 5-28-1-1 and Indiana Code § 6–3.1–13, and in accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein, the IEDC has awarded a tax credit under the Economic Development for a Growing Economy Tax Credit program. The Agreement specifies the terms of this credit for the Company, against its Indiana state tax liability, as defined by Indiana Code § 6-3.1-13-9 (“State Tax Liability”), for each Taxable Year (as defined in Paragraph 4 below). Capitalized terms used herein and not otherwise defined shall have the meaning given to them in Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT. 1.01 It is mutually agreed that the purpose and intent of this Agreement is to promote cooperation and harmony between the employer, the employees and the Union, and to secure for the parties the full benefits of orderly Collective Bargaining, to recognize mutual interest and to provide a channel through which information and problems may be transmitted from one to the other, and to provide an amicable method for the fair and peaceful disposition of all grievances, to promote efficiency in the production of quality products, and to set forth the conditions of employment to be observed by the employees, the Union and the Company.
