Future Legislation. In the event that any future legislation renders null and void or materially alters any provision of this Agreement, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect for the term of the Agreement, and the parties hereto shall negotiate a mutually agreeable provision to be substituted for the provision so rendered null and void or materially altered.
Future Legislation. In the event that any future legislation renders null and void or materially alters any provision of the Collective Agreement, the following shall apply:
Future Legislation. 4.01 In the event that any law passed by the Legislature applying to the Employees covered by this Agreement renders null and void any provision of this Agreement, the remaining provisions of the Agreement shall remain in effect for the term of the Agreement.
Future Legislation. In the event that any law passed by Parliament or the Legislative Assembly of Nunavut renders null and void or alters any provision of this Agreement, the remaining provisions of the Agreement shall remain in effect for the term of the Agreement. When this occurs the Collective Agreement shall be re-opened upon the request of either party and negotiations shall commence with a view to finding an appropriate substitute for the annulled or altered provision.
Future Legislation. If any article, section, paragraph, clause or phrase of this Agreement is declared or held illegal, void or unenforceable by provincial, federal or other law, or by decision of any court, the remaining portions of this Agreement shall continue to be valid and in full force and effect and the parties shall immediately meet to review the effect of such change to this Collective Agreement and if necessary attempt to resolve the differences created by such change.
Future Legislation. In the event that any law passed by the Legislature applying to the employees covered by this Agreement renders null and void any provision of this Agreement, the remaining provisions of the Agreement shall remain in effect for the term of the Agreement.
Future Legislation. 5.02 In the event that any law passed by Parliament or the Northwest Territories Legislative Assembly renders null and void or alters any provision of this Agreement, the remaining provisions of the Agreement shall remain in effect for the term of the Agreement. When this occurs the Collective Agreement shall be re-opened upon the request of either party and negotiations shall commence with a view to finding an appropriate substitute for the annulled or altered provision.
Future Legislation. (a) If any Article in this Agreement or part thereof is altered or rendered invalid by the operation of existing or future legislation, the remainder of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect for the remainder of the term.

In the event that any future legislation renders null and void any provision of this Agreement, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect for the term of the Agreement, and the parties hereto shall consult with a view to reaching mutually agreeable provision to be substituted for the provisions so rendered null and void. In the event any future legislation materially alters the intent of any clause in this Agreement, either party may request consultation with a view to seeking an amendment or clarification of the clause.
Future Legislation. Where any provision of this Agreement conflicts with the provisions of any public statute or regulation of the province, the provisions of the public statute or regulation shall prevail. In the event that any law passed by the Legislature of the Province, applying to employees covered by this Agreement, renders null and void any provisions of this Agreement, the remaining provisions of the Agreement shall remain in effect for the term of this Agreement, and the parties to this Agreement shall negotiate a mutually agreeable provision to be substituted for the provision so rendered null and void. In the event no agreement can be reached, the parties may submit the matter to Adjudication.
