Articulation Agreements. Great Oaks has articulation agreements with area colleges and apprenticeship programs. Great Oaks articulation agreements are formal agreements between Great Oaks and the specific entity of postsecondary-level learning which details how learning completed at Great Oaks will be accepted and applied by another toward its courses/certificates/degree programs. Articulation Agreements. Xxxx distributed copies of articulation agreements made with the Northcentral Technical College for the Accountant Associate of Applied Science and the Business Management Associate of Applied Science degrees. He explained that the accounting degree has a relatively straight forward mapping of credits from associate’s (NTC) to bachelor’s degrees. The business management associate on the other hand was free to go to any of the DBE’s eight majors. The agreements are based on "boilerplate language" used in previous articulation agreements. Equivalency of courses was discussed. Xxxx noted that a student fulfilling all the requirements at NTC and at UWS in accounting would have a total of 132 out of the required 150 hours for CPA. Xxxxxxx recommended that a similar agreement should be considered for the SMGT program. Ethan prosed adding an appendix “B” to the management agreement indicating the coursework required to get a minor in business at UWS. Motion by Xxxx, seconded by Xxxx. Articulation Agreements. This EPA serves as a foundation for the Parties to articulate department and programmatic-level student transfers from Institution to APUS where the Parties may agree their respective academic programs align for student transfer. Any such transfer initiative shall be further documented in an articulation agreement, each of which shall be subject to this EPA and are incorporated herein by reference (each an “Articulation Agreement”).

Gavilan College has completed lower division course-to-course, major-to-major, and general education agreements with all California State University (CSU), University of California (UC) and a number of private university campuses. These agreements ensure that participating universities will accept certain courses taken at Gavilan College to satisfy general education, major, or elec- tive university requirements. Articulation Agreements. USD BOR Policy 2:27 Program to Program Articulation Agreements establishes requirements for institutions seeking to develop program level agreements for interested transfer students. The policy further establishes the distinction between AA, AS, and AAS degrees which are classified as transferable, terminal, or non-transferable degrees (respectively). However, the AAS is “transferable when a specific degree articulation agreement exists between a given A.A.S. degree and a specific Baccalaureate degree.” Agreements established with regionally accredited institutions must be developed in conjunction with the faculty, following all institutional guidelines and are monitored as a function of the institutional program review process. Once approved, the agreements apply only at Regental institutions with equivalent programs. To comply with BOR Policy 2:27, the University of South Dakota requests approval for the following articulation agreements: • Students who have completed coursework in the Associate of Science degree in Applied Health Sciences at Black Hills State University (BHSU) can apply credit toward the Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at USD (Attachment V). • Students who have completed coursework in the Associate of Science degree in Business Administration at Sisseton Wahpeton College (SWC) can apply credit toward the Bachelor of Business Administration degree at USD (Attachment VI). • Students who have completed coursework in the Associate of Science degree in Addiction and Diversity Counseling at Sisseton Wahpeton College (SWC) can apply credit toward the Bachelor of Science degree in Addiction Counseling and Prevention at USD (Attachment VII). • Students who have completed coursework in the Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing (RN) at Southeast Technical College (STC) can apply credit toward the Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (RN-BSN) at USD (Attachment III). • Students who have completed coursework in the Dental Assistant program at Lake Area Technical College (LATC) can apply credit toward courses in the Department of Dental Hygiene at USD (Attachment IX). • Students who have completed coursework in the Dental Assisting program at Western Iowa Tech Community College (WITCC) can apply credit toward courses in the Department of Dental Hygiene at USD (Attachment X).

An articulation agreement is where a signed agreement between the University and the partner institution sets out circumstances under which the University MAY agree to admit students, at either ‘entry level’ to undergraduate or taught postgraduate course, or ‘advanced standing’ to levels five or six of a programme, on the basis of the learning outcomes achieved and verified by, the partner institution.
