AFL-CIO. Re: Layoff Protection Each employee who is employed in the regular work force as of July 8, 2016, and who has not acquired the protection provided under Article 6 shall be protected henceforth against any involuntary layoff or force reduction during the term of this Agreement. It is the intent of this Memorandum of Understanding to provide job security to each such employee during the term of this Agreement; however, in the event Congress repeals or significantly relaxes the Private Express Statutes this Memorandum shall expire upon the enactment of such legislation. In addition, nothing in this Memorandum of Understanding shall diminish the rights of any bargaining-unit employees under Article 6. AFL-CIO. Subcontractor acknowledges that terms and conditions of the labor agreements with the unions listed in Section 14.1 above may require that Subcontractor comply with additional labor agreements with unions affiliated with the AFL-CIO but not listed. When the terms and conditions of the referenced labor agreements so require, Subcontractor shall perform its Work pursuant to all terms and conditions of an appropriate labor agreement with a union affiliated with the AFL-CIO.

AFL-CIO. The Township and the Union have already agreed to a Letter of Agreement allowing the three positions in the Assessing Department to be outsourced subject to certain conditions. By this Agreement, the Township and the Union further agree to allow Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx to retire immediately as if she had 15 years of service- only for the purposes of retiree health care. The Township and the Union also agree to allow Xxxxxxxx Xxxx to retire immediately as if she had 25 years of service- only for the purposes of retiree health care. Their pension shall be calculated based on actual pension service credit accumulated as of their date of retirement. The Township also agrees to provide a one-time payment of $500 to every current AFSCME-member employee except Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx and Xxxxxxxx Xxxx.
