Dental Coverage definition

Dental Coverage. Adjunct faculty eligible for insurance as listed in 8.F.2 may choose to participate in an HMO group dental plan through the College at the cost to the faculty member.
Dental Coverage means any coverage available under any group dental plan maintained by the Employer to which you make contributions.
Dental Coverage. The City shall provide a dental care program for employees who are not excluded from such benefit by Chapter 4.04.120 of the Berkeley Municipal Code (Personnel Ordinance) which is attached hereto as Exhibit B (City of Berkeley Municipal Code Chapter 4.04.120) and made a part hereof. The present level of benefits under the Dental Program shall be maintained at City expense for the duration of this Memorandum. Dental benefits are extended to full-time employees, spouse of the employee or domestic partner, and IRS dependents up to age 24. 24.3.1 Effective January 1, 1995, the annual maximum dental benefit will be increased to $2000 per year, and the lifetime maximum orthodontia benefit shall be increased to $2000. 24.3.2 Effective January 1, 2000, the dental plan is improved from 90% coverage to 100% coverage. 24.3.3 Effective January 1, 2003, the annual maximum dental benefit will be increased to $4000 per year, the lifetime maximum orthodontia benefit will be increased to $4000, and the annual cleanings will be increased from two (2) to four (4).

More Definitions of Dental Coverage

Dental Coverage. A self funded dental reimbursement plan is provided for eligible employees. The employee contribution is $5.00 per month for single participation and $10.00 per month for family. The maximum annual reimbursement is $200.00 for single and $400.00 for family.
Dental Coverage. The City shall provide a dental care program for employees, spouses, domestic partners and dependents. The City shall pay dental coverage to 90% of the Bay Area Usual, Customary and Reasonable charges. Effective January 1, 2007, the maximum annual coverage will increase from $2,500 to $3,000 and the lifetime orthodontia limit will increase from $2,500 to $3,000. All career and grant-funded provisional employees working less than a full forty (40) hour week shall receive prorated rather than full fringe benefits and shall pay, by payroll deduction, a prorated portion of the health and dental insurance premiums. Life Insurance: Effective with the beginning of the first month after Council approval of this Agreement, the City shall increase the term life insurance to $100,000 for each employee that shall include a standard accidental death and dismemberment provision of a like amount. In addition, employees may purchase additional life insurance in increments of $10,000 up to a maximum of $300,000 at the rate offered by the City’s insurance carrier, subject to any rules and restrictions of the carrier, including but not limited to any medical exam that might be required by the insurance carrier.
Dental Coverage means group dental coverage maintained for Employees by the Employer under a separate plan, program, insurance policy or contract formedical care” (as that term is used for purposes of Section 105(b) of the Code), substantially all of which is for treatment of the mouth (as described in Treas. Reg. Section 54.9831-1(c)(3)(iii)(A)) and which satisfies the requirements of Sections 105 and 106 of the Code.
Dental Coverage means the group dental care options (appropriate single, employee and spouse, employee and children or family coverage) as amended from time to time offered pursuant to an Agreement.

Related to Dental Coverage

  • Continuation Coverage means the temporary continuation of PEBB benefits available to enrollees under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA), 42 U.S.C. Secs. 300bb-1 through 300bb-8, the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), 38 U.S.C. Secs. 4301 through 4335, or the public employees benefits board's policies.

  • Coverage or “Covering”) shall mean that the developing, making, using, offering for sale, promoting, selling or importing of a given compound, formulation or product would infringe a Valid Claim of an issued patent in the absence of a license under such Valid Claim. The determination of whether a compound, formulation or product is Covered by a particular Valid Claim shall be made on a country-by-country basis.

  • Insurance Coverage Contractor shall, at Contractor’s sole expense, procure, maintain and keep in force for the duration of this Contract the following insurance conforming to the minimum requirements specified below. Unless specified herein or otherwise agreed to by the City, the required insurance shall be in effect prior to the commencement of work by Contractor and shall continue in force as appropriate until the latter of:

  • Long-term disability insurance or "LTD insurance" means employ- er-paid long-term disability insurance and employee-paid long-term disability insurance offered by the PEBB program.

  • Basic hospital cover means a hospital policy that includes the clinical categories that must be covered by a basic hospital product.
