VACATIONS VACATION PAY. (a) Commencing with the vacation schedule of May 7th, 1987, employees having less than one (1) year of service on May 1st in any year, shall be entitled upon the completion of their probationary period, to a credit of one (1) day vacation with pay for each month of service, to a maximum of ten (10) working days vacation with pay at the rate of four percent (4%) of their gross earnings.

Vacations will not be cumulative from year to year. Furthermore, an employee will not be permitted to forego the vacation to which he is entitled. Vacation schedules shall be posted by May 1st each year and shall not be changed unless mutually agreed to by the employee and the Board. For the purposes of computing qualifications for vacation with pay, the service rendered by an employee with a predecessor Board shall be counted.
