General Purpose. 1.01 The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish mutually satisfactory relations between the Board and its employees; to provide means for the prompt disposition of grievances, and to establish and maintain satisfactory working conditions, hours of work and wages for all employees who are subject to its provisions.

The General Partner shall also be empowered to do any and all acts and things necessary or prudent to ensure that the Partnership will not be classified as a “publicly traded partnership” taxable as a corporation for purposes of Section 7704 of the Code.
