Call Back. Where employees are called back to work after having completed a regular shift, and prior to the commencement of their next regular shift, they shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours of work or four (4) hours pay at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) their regular hourly earnings. Superior provisions shall remain.

Call Back. An employee recalled to work overtime after leaving the employer's enterprise (whether notified before or after leaving the enterprise) is to be paid for a minimum of four hours work at the rate of time and one half for the first three hours and double time thereafter (or double time for the full period for continuous shift workers). There are a number of conditions which apply to this provision:

Call Back. 21.1 An employee recalled to work overtime after leaving the enterprise’s business premises (whether notified before or after leaving the premises) will be paid for a minimum of three hours work at the appropriate rates for each time the employee is so recalled. Except in the case of unforeseen circumstances arising the employee will not be required to work the full three hours if the job or jobs the employee was recalled to perform be completed within a shorter period.
Call Back. Return of an employee to a specified work site to perform assigned duties at the express authorization of the EMPLOYER at a time other than an assigned shift. An extension of or early report to an assigned shift is not a call back.

These employees shall receive a transportation allowance based on the cost of taking a taxi from their home to the Employer's place of business and return or, if the employee normally drives his/her automobile to work the allowance in Article 27.12 from the employee's home to the Employer's place of business and return. The minimum allowance shall be two dollars ($2.00).
