Call Back. Where employees are called back to work after having completed a regular shift, and prior to the commencement of their next regular shift, they shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours of work or four (4) hours pay at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) their regular hourly earnings. Superior provisions shall remain.
Call Back. An employee who is called to work after leaving the Hospital premises and outside of his regular scheduled hours, shall be paid a minimum of no less than two (2) hours' pay (except those Hospitals where 22 or 3 hours is applicable; such hospitals shall appropriately reflect the applicable hours in this article) at time and one-half (1½) his regular straight time hourly rate for work performed on each call-in. In the event that such two (2) hour period overlaps and extends into his regular shift he will receive the two (2) hour guarantee payment at time and one half (1½) and his regular hourly rate for the remaining hours of his regular shift. The reference to leaving the Hospital premises referred to above will not be applicable where an employee remains in the Hospital on standby arrangement with the Hospital. NOTE: Applicable to part-time employees only. For purposes of clarification, Article 17.02 does not apply to prescheduled hours of work. Article 17.02 does not apply where the employee elects to work additional unscheduled hours made available by the Hospital. (NOTE: Any other provision(s) related to Call Back that existed in the expiring Collective Agreement will be continued and numbered in sequence as provisions of this Article.)
Call Back. Non-exempt full-time employees called back to work without prior notice on the same day after once leaving work or before the next regular starting time, shall be guaranteed a minimum of not less than three (3) hours compensation.
Call Back. When a Nurse is required to report back to work after leaving the premises of the Employer following completion of a shift, but before the commencement of her next shift, she shall be paid for the extra time worked at a minimum of four (4) hours pay at straight time rates or overtime in accordance with Article 7.11, whichever is greater.
Call Back. 1. It is agreed between the parties that when a principal or supervisor requests that a member of the bargaining unit be called in to work on an emergency basis as designated by the principal or supervisor after an employee has completed the shift to which the employee was assigned and has physically left the premises for the workday such request be considered to qualify for the following extra compensation. Any employee who has worked his normal eight (8) hour shift and then reports for work on request shall be guaranteed a minimum payment of one hour of compensation at the rate of one and one- half (1 ½) times the regular rate of pay instead of the regular rate of pay regardless of the time worked. By way of example a regular rate of $5.00 per hour would be paid at the total of $7.50 for work performed up to one hour. An employee who has worked his/her normal shift and then reports for work on request after 12 a.m. but before 6 a.m. preceding a normal workday or after 12 a.m. Friday evening but before 6 a.m. Monday morning shall be guaranteed a minimum payment of two (2) hours of compensation at the rate of one and one-half times his/her regular rate of pay. Time over the two (2) hour minimum shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half times his/her regular rate of pay. Any work performed under this provision would be calculated into the regular workweek and hours to determine overtime eligibility for all time worked over forty (40) hours. There shall be no double compensation of any type nor pyramiding of overtime by this agreement.
Call Back. Employees called back to work on their regular time off shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours overtime pay at the applicable overtime rate, or shall be paid at the applicable overtime rate for the time worked, whichever is greater. These employees shall receive a transportation allowance based on the cost of taking a taxi from their home to the Employer's place of business and return or, if the employee normally drives his/her automobile to work the allowance in Article 27.12 from the employee's home to the Employer's place of business and return. The minimum allowance shall be two dollars ($2.00).
Call Back. When an Employee who has completed her regularly scheduled tour and left the Hospital is called back from standby for duty outside her regularly scheduled working hours for a short period of time as defined by the Hospital, the Employee will be paid a minimum of four (4) hours pay at one and one-half times her regular straight time hourly rate, except to the extent that such four (4) hour period overlaps or extends into her regularly scheduled shift. In such case, she will receive time and one-half (1 ½) her regular straight time hourly rate for actual hours worked up to the commencement of her regular shift. The Hospital will also pay for mileage costs as defined in its policies. In no case will the Hospital pay for more than one call-in within the same four (4) hour period.
