Scheduling PTO. On or before January 1st of each year, employees are invited to express their preference as to PTO time by seniority in full weeks. After full weeks are selected, employees may select single or partial days by seniority. In assigning PTO, the Company, insofar as feasible, will comply with the request, giving preference to requests of senior employees. PTO selections must be given to the immediate supervisor on or before January 31st. PTO will be approved by February 15th. PTO not scheduled during the initial selection process will be available on a first come first serve basis. Employees may carry over up to 120 hours of PTO from year to year.
Scheduling PTO. To the extent business requirements permit, employee requests for a specific period in which to take PTO will be honored. Furthermore, the most senior employees shall have preference as to the time they take PTO so far as the efficient operation of the business will permit. Where more than one (1) employee in a job classification desire PTO at the same time, PTO will be assigned according to seniority. Employer and the employee may mutually agree upon the PTO time. All request offs shall be responded to in writing within seven (7) days.

Scheduling PTO. A. PTO days, with the exception of illness or injury, must be scheduled far enough in advance so as to provide for adequate staffing.
Scheduling PTO. Employees shall participate in an annual seniority bid for scheduled PTO leave. Each December, Employees shall select PTO time for the upcoming calendar year, subject to established blackout periods. Employees may select up to a maximum of three consecutive weeks during the initial round of bidding. PTO requests outside of the annual bid process must be submitted no later than the Monday preceding the work week in which it has been requested. Such PTO requests will be granted based on the order in which PTO requests are received and subject to business requirements. Where more than one (1) employee in a job classification request PTO at the same time, PTO will be granted according to seniority. Employer and employee may mutually agree upon the PTO time.
Scheduling PTO. Employees must request PTO in writing at least 3 days in advance. Approval of PTO will be based on the business and staffing needs of the Employer. In cases where more employees request PTO than can be allowed, priority consideration will be given to the employees with the greater length of service with the company. In the case of unexpected illness, the employee must submit a written request for PTO immediately upon the employee's return to work. Repeated claims of illness may result in a requirement for a doctor's certificate regarding the employee's health condition.

Scheduling PTO. Employees shall make every effort to request PTO at least 30 days prior to the start date of the PTO. Employees shall make every effort to request non-vacation PTO with as much notice as possible PTO requests shall be made in accordance with Employer policy. The Employer shall make every effort to honor PTO requests. When two or more employees in the same work unit request the same PTO date at the same time and the Employer cannot accommodate all requests, seniority shall be the determining factor in filling PTO requests.
Scheduling PTO. PTO shall be scheduled from January 1 to December 31 on a seniority basis in each job classification. PTO requests for one (1) week or greater will be submitted on a quarterly basis according to the schedule below. The team member responsible for scheduling will respond in writing with approval/denial within 30 calendar days from the request date deadline for the following quarter. If the Employer denies or fails to respond to the request within the allotted time frame, the team member may file a grievance pursuant to Article 10 of this Agreement, with the remedy being approval of the PTO request. This shall not prevent team members from submitting PTO requests after the specified dates below, but such requests will not be based on seniority.   • Self Scheduling The Home and the Union may agree to implement a self-scheduling process. Self-scheduling is the mechanism by which employees in a Home create their own work schedules. The purpose of self scheduling is to improve job satisfaction and quality of work life for the participating employees. Self scheduling requires a collaboration of employees and management to ensure proper coverage of the Home and to meet the provisions of the Collective Agreement. It is agreed that self scheduling will be negotiated locally by the Home and the Union and will include a trial period. Each Home must have the majority agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to agree on a trial period of up to six months. Once the trial period is complete, each Home must have a minimum of 66⅔% agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to continue with the new schedule on a permanent basis.

  • Work Scheduling Except at the request of an affected employee, no employee shall have the number of hours they are normally scheduled to work reduced as the result of the use of non-permanent employees such as, but not limited to: seasonal, intermittent, student interns, interns, interim, established term, or temporary employees, due to the performance of such employee’s duties by the nonpermanent employee.

  • Overtime Scheduling (A) It is the intent of the City, consistent with efficient and effective operation of the Division of Police, to distribute in an equitable manner, all pre-scheduled overtime among all members. Recognition will be given to the qualifications of the members and the requirements placed on the City by any third party funding sources. Any complaints by members that pre-scheduled overtime is not being equitably distributed among all qualified members as described above may be brought by the Lodge directly to the Chief's attention at Step 3 of the Grievance Procedure and shall also be a proper subject for discussion in a Labor Relations Committee meeting. Inability to work a prescheduled overtime assignment due to illness or death in the family or injury will not require the member to charge such absence against sick leave or injury leave.

  • Vacation Scheduling (a) With the exception of authorized vacation carryover under Clause 18.6, the scheduling and completion of vacations shall be on a calendar-year basis.
