Partial Days a. A teacher teaching on call assignment to a school for the morning session shall receive sixty percent (60%) of the per diem rate.
b. Assignment for the afternoon session shall receive fifty percent (50%) of a day’s pay.
c. Teacher teaching on call rates for Secondary Schools shall be 50% for either the morning or afternoon sessions, as long as the teaching timetable remains equally split between morning and afternoon.
d. No assignment shall be for less than one half-day
Partial Days. In the event an employee shall report to work and is given less than two (2) hours work, the employee shall be paid for two (2) hours minimum. In the event that a tile job is completed after two (2) hours but in less than eight hours, and no other work is provided, the employee shall be paid for hours worked.

Vacation time will be charged as the actual time away from the job, but in no case less than 2 hours. Requests and approval of any such request is also subject to Section D of this article.

When an employee returns to complete a regular shift following time served on jury duty or as a witness, such time falling within work shift shall be considered as time worked for purposes of shift completion and overtime computation.
