Partial Days. Employees that work partial days during the week who participate in the 4-day Work Week will follow the format below: • 4-hour contracts would change to 5 hours per day, and time slip any hours after the first 5 contracted hours. • 5-hour contracts would change to 6.25 hours per day, and time slip any hours after the first 6.25 contracted hours. • 6-hour contracts would change to 7.5 hours per day, and time slip any hours after the first 7.5 contracted hours. • 6.5-hour contracts would change to 8.125 hours per day, and time slip after the first 8.125 contracted hours. • 7-hour contracts would change to 8.75 hours per day, and time slip any hours after the first 8.75 contracted hours.
Partial Days. In the event an employee shall report to work and is given less than two (2) hours work, the employee shall be paid for two (2) hours minimum. In the event that a tile job is completed after two (2) hours but in less than eight hours, and no other work is provided, the employee shall be paid for hours worked.
Partial Days a. A teacher teaching on call assignment to a school for the morning session shall receive sixty percent (60%) of the per diem rate.
Partial Days. With your supervisor’s approval, you can split your vacation time into increments as little as one-half hour. This will allow you to make the best use of your vacation time.
Partial Days. An employee’s vacation may be taken for less than a single day at a time provided the employee has received actual and specific approval from his supervisor prior to the start of his actual time off. Vacation time will be charged as the actual time away from the job, but in no case less than 2 hours. Requests and approval of any such request is also subject to Section D of this article.
Partial Days. When an employee returns to complete a regular shift following time served on jury duty or as a witness, such time falling within work shift shall be considered as time worked for purposes of shift completion and overtime computation. In determining whether or not an employee shall return to his/her regular shift following performance of the duties above, reasonable consideration shall be given to such facts as travel time and a period of rest.
