The Immediate Supervisor. Grievances submitted at Step 1 will be filed with the grievant's Clinical Lead Provider (CLP). The grievant’s CLP, or other manager or supervisor appointed by the department, will respond in writing to the grievant or his or her Union representative within fifteen (15) days of receipt. There will be a mandatory meeting either at Step 1 or at Step 2 of the grievance procedure to formally discuss the grievance. Unless an exception is agreed upon by the Union and the County, the meeting will be attended by the grievant, the manager and/or CLP designated by the County, and the xxxxxxx and/or other Union representative. If the grievance is a class grievance, a representative employee shall be deemed the grievant for the purposes of the mandatory meeting.

  • Immediate Supervisor The term "immediate supervisor" as used in this Article refers to the appropriate non-bargaining unit supervisory or management person to whom the employee is accountable.

  • Level Three - Superintendent Within ten (10) days of receipt of the decision rendered by the Executive Director of Human Resources, any party in interest may appeal the Director’s decision to the Superintendent, or designee, on forms provided by the School District and the Association.   • SITE SUPERVISION 1.9.1 Contractor shall provide adequate supervision of his employees to ensure complete and satisfactory performance of all work in accordance with the terms of the contract. Contractor shall have a responsible supervisor on the job at all times when the work of the contract is being carried out.

  • Board-Superintendent Relationship The Board shall be primarily responsible for formulating and adopting policy. The Superintendent shall be the chief administrative officer for the district and shall be responsible for implementing Board policy. He shall organize the administrative and supervisory staff, and select, place, and transfer personnel with the concurrence of the Board. He is responsible for administering the instruction of students and the business affairs of the school district. The Board members agree, individually and collectively, to promptly refer all criticisms, complaints, and suggestions called to their attention to the Superintendent for action, study and/or recommendation, as appropriate.

  • Manager 5.1. Rules relating to the rights, duties and responsibilities of the Managers shall be governed by the Act. Such provisions are hereinafter incorporated into this Agreement by reference. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Manager shall have the powers set forth in Paragraph 5.3 below.
