Military Duty Leave. 3301 City policy relating to military leave, the extent of compensation and other benefits, while on such leave shall be in accordance with City Council Resolution 2001-180 and with the provisions of all Federal and State laws. 3302 Employees entitled to military leave shall give their Department Head an opportunity within the limits of military regulations to determine when such leave shall be taken. 3303 Active Military Duty commences when the employee has expired all the compensation provided for in the Military and Veterans’ Code of the State of California.

Military Duty Leave. Any employee required or volunteering to serve in the Armed Forces of the United States shall be granted leave without pay for such service. An employee returning from such leave shall be returned to employment, without prejudice, provided application for reemployment is filed within six (6) months following the date of discharge or release from active military duty, and provided further that the Board shall have up to six (6) months to reassign the employee to duty in the school system.
Military Duty Leave. An employee who is called for and serves temporary military duty or who enlists or is otherwise ordered or called to active duty in the armed forces of the United States, the National Guard, or the Naval Militia shall, if he/she has completed one (1) full year of active classified service with the District and/or in recognized military service, be entitled to a military leave without loss of compensation for up to the first thirty (30) calendar days of necessary absence from duty provided that such leave shall be applicable each fiscal year for absences due to temporary military service.
Military Duty Leave. In accordance with State and Federal laws, any employee required by official military orders or related authority to attend Military Reserve Training shall receive full wages at their current base pay rate for the period of the active duty required for such training, not to exceed fifteen (15) days per calendar year. Employees who are in service of the armed forces of the State or the United States shall be entitled to leave of absence without pay as provided in Minn. Stat. § 192.261. Employees requesting military leave, as provided in this Article, shall furnish the Employer with notification and a copy of the official military order at the earliest possible date.
Military Duty Leave. If National Guard or Reserve encampment or a period of active training due to emergency situations should occur during the school year, the teacher required to participate shall be granted a temporary leave of absence. The employee will receive regular salary for days spent in government service during a school year to the extent allowable by statute.

The applicable state laws can be found at Military & Veterans Codes 389 et seq. (M&V Code). The applicable federal law is the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Right Act (USERRA) and can be found at 38 U.S.C. at 301 et seq.
Military Duty Leave. Every employee shall be entitled to military leave as provided by state and federal law including Minnesota Statute § 192.26, Minnesota Statute §191.261 and XXXXXX, 00 X.X.X. § 0000(x) (2). The employee shall immediately inform their respective Department Head and Human Resources regarding the military duty and need for military leave as soon as known by the employee.
