COLLEGE HOLIDAY Clause Samples

The College Holiday clause defines the periods during which the college is officially closed for holidays, and normal academic or administrative activities are suspended. Typically, this clause outlines specific dates or types of holidays, such as winter break, spring break, or public holidays, during which students and staff are not required to attend classes or work. Its core practical function is to provide clear guidance on when the college will not be operational, helping students, faculty, and staff plan accordingly and avoid confusion regarding attendance or deadlines during these periods.

In the event this occurs, the District and ECCE will, at the request of either, negotiate the designated use of such holiday time.
