Detective Assignment Pay Clause Samples
Detective Assignment Pay. An Officer who is assigned to work as a Detective for a period of (1) one or more months shall be paid special duty pay at the rate of $150 per month of such assignment up to a limit of 12 months. Assignment to the Detective position will be rotated annually as needed.
Detective Assignment Pay. Officers assigned to work a regularly scheduled rotation as a Detective will receive an additional five (5%) assignment pay adjustment during the time they serve in this assignment. Assignments and duration of assignments will be according to department policy and are at the discretion of the Chief of Police.
Detective Assignment Pay. Individuals in the Police Officer classification who are assigned to serve as Detectives shall receive an additional payment of five percent (5%) of their base hourly rate, including holiday pay. Members of this unit assigned to serve as detectives shall be required to carry and respond to pagers or cellular telephone during their off hours.
a. Employees assigned to the Detective Unit or School Resource Officer will be eligible for certification from the Investigative Certification Institute (I.C.I.). Upon successful completion of the I.C.I. certification and submittal to the City of proof of certification employees will receive an additional 5% of their base hourly rate. Such certification will remain with the employee when he/she returns to the Patrol Unit.
b. Detectives residing within the south shore of the Tahoe Basin shall be eligible to take assigned police vehicles home after work.
Detective Assignment Pay. During the period of time that an employee is assigned to serve as a Detective or Detective Sergeant, the employee shall receive Detective Assignment Pay in an amount equal to 5.0% of Regular Pay. The Parties agree that this increase is in recognition of the added responsibilities of this assignment, as well as to compensate employees so assigned for being on an on-call status on a rotating basis.
