Standby. An employee who is required to remain available for duty on standby, outside the normal working hours for that particular employee, shall receive standby pay in the amount of $2.00 per hour for all hours on standby. Standby pay shall, however, cease where an employee is called into work under Article 15.06 above and works during the period of standby."

Standby. (a) Effective November 10, 2009, an employee who is required to remain available for duty on standby outside her or his regularly scheduled working hours shall receive standby pay in the amount of three dollars and thirty cents ($3.30) per hour for the period of standby scheduled by the Employer. Where such standby duty falls on a weekend or paid holiday, the employee shall receive standby pay in the amount of four dollars and ninety cents ($4.90) per hour. Standby pay shall, however, cease where the employee is called in to work.
Standby. 29.01 Where the Employer requires an employee to be available on standby during off-duty hours, such employee shall be compensated at the rate of one-half (1/2) hour for each four (4) hour period or part thereof for which the employee has been designated as being on standby duty.
Standby. (a) Employees who stand by for a call to work between the end of a normal day shift on the first day of work in a normal work week as defined in Clause 11.1 (excluding public holidays) and the commencement of a normal day shift on the last day of work in the normal work week shall be paid one (1) hour's pay at the employee's regular rate of pay for each period of eight (8) hours that the employee stands by, in addition to any callout pay to which there may be entitlement under Clause 8.2.
Standby. Any law enforcement employee or fire protection employee who is required by the Employer to be available for immediate return to duty, under conditions which do not allow the employee reasonable use of the time waiting to be called back to duty for his or her own purposes, shall be deemed to be in standby status. Time in standby status shall be considered time worked for regular compensation and overtime compensation purposes.
Standby. An employee required to standby or remain available for call-back duty on other than regular scheduled hours shall be paid at the rate of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour of standby time. Where such standby falls on any of the designated holidays listed in the collective agreement, the employee shall be paid at the rate of three dollars ($3.00) per hour of standby time. Hours worked for call-back shall be deducted from hours for which the employee receives standby pay. However, an employee shall be entitled to a minimum of five dollars ($5.00) for each eight hour period on standby even if called back to work.
