Last Day of Work. Employees who are terminating their employment for reasons other than County retirement (with no other employment) shall not use vacation to extend their termination date (e.g. requesting vacation to begin March 7 while actual termination date is March 13, etc.).

Last Day of Work. PRIOR TO XMAS SHUTDOWN The last day of work prior to the Xmas shutdown will be a full day i.e. all employees on all shifts will work their normal 7.6 hour shift. In addition to their normal pay, all employees will receive an extra payment of 3 hours of pay in recognition of their contribution over the year. This additional payment will be made in the final pay prior to the Xmas shutdown and will be noted on each employee’s pay slip.
