Telephone Calls. Calling, Monitoring and Recording For our mutual protection, and to enable us to provide better service to you, we may monitor and/or tape-record any of our telephone conversations.
Telephone Calls. Cumulative time spent on the telephone in excess of 15 minutes shall be compensable as call back time. This applies only to telephone calls taken by the employee which do not require a return to work. This section is not applicable to those employees who are on stand-by.

The employee must keep a log with particulars relating to all work related calls and provide details on or have attached to their time sheet before payment for calls is made.

When management determines a program operational problem exists and it necessitates calling or paging an employee, the employee shall be compensated for the duration of the call(s) or one (1) hour of pay at the applicable rate whichever is greater. Employees engaged in computer programming or system analyst assignments may be issued an electronic device and/or laptop if a telephone call is anticipated, thus freeing employees from having to remain by their home telephones. If required to carry an electronic device and/or laptop, the employee will be paid one (1) hour at the employee’s base straight time rate for each twenty-four (24) hour period or fraction thereof. This payment is in addition to compensation for actual telephone calls.
Telephone Calls. When it is necessary to place a work related long distance call, the nurse should request that the operator xxxx the call to the home office telephone number. A nurse who pays cash for a work related long distance call, may obtain reimbursement for such call.
Telephone Calls. Telephone calls that identify sufficient facts to constitute an emergency received within the school/department which would affect the health or safety of an employee or his/her immediate family, shall be promptly transmitted to the employee.
Telephone Calls. Employees who are authorized by management to receive work-related phone calls at home in lieu of returning to the work site shall be compensated at time and one-half (1½) for time actually spent addressing the call.
Telephone Calls. If it become necessary for a driver to call the office when he is on company business, he shall be reimbursed for the amount paid. In case of bona fide illness or accident at home, this rule will be extended.
