Fire Protection definition

Fire Protection means all aspects of fire safety including but not limited to fire prevention, fire fighting or suppression, pre-fire planning, fire investigation, public education and information, training or other staff development and advising.
Fire Protection means a range of programs designed to protect the lives and property of the inhabitants of the fire Department response area from the adverse effects of fires, sudden medical emergencies or exposure to dangerous conditions created by and/or nature and includes fire prevention and public education, rescue and suppression services.

Fire Protection means that level of response to an Emergency or Incident as may be mandated by Council from time to time, including but not limited to, issues concerning fire prevention, fire suppression, pre-fire planning, fire investigation, Dangerous Goods response, public education and information, training or other staff development and advising.
