Effective June. 30, 2015, a probationary faculty member with a teaching assignment who is in the first year of his/her probationary period will be granted a three credit reassignment per academic year or nine-month appointment to pursue non-teaching activities consistent with Article 22 and described in the faculty member’s professional development plan and professional development report. Normally, a faculty member who receives a reassignment under this paragraph will not be assigned additional instruction on an overload basis.

Effective June. 30, 2013, no bargaining unit member shall be eligible to move to the Bachelor + 45 column. Any existing bargaining unit members who are on the Bachelor + 45 column as of June 30, 2013 shall be grandfathered and allowed to remain on the column.

Effective June. The parties agree to establish a committee for the purposes of reviewing classification issues, particularly those classifications that vary between sites and the classification adjustment issues raised in negotiations for the term commencing October The Committee will consist of three (3) Hospital members (inclusive of the Human Resources Manager) and three (3) Union members (inclusiveof the Representative). The Committee will develop terms of reference that will include the following process to be followed when either party requests a classification to be reviewed. In the event that substantial changes occur in existingjobs, the employee or the Union, shall submit a request with reasons for re-evaluation to the manager. The employee shall complete the job fact sheet and return it to Human Resources within one (1) month of receiving the job fact sheet from Human Resources. Human Resources will copy the completed fact sheet to the Union upon receipt.
