AUXILIARY AIDS. The Hotel represents and you acknowledge that the Hotel facilities being rented for you including guest rooms, common areas and transportation services will be in compliance with our public accommodation requirements under the Americans With Disabilities Act. You agree that one week in advance you will furnish to us a list of any auxiliary aids needed by your attendees in meeting or function space. You agree to pay all charges associated with the provision of such aids. When your attendees make room reservations, please ask them to notify us of their auxiliary aid needs so that we may notify you as to the names of businesses with which you may contract to obtain those aids.

AUXILIARY AIDS and Services shall mean qualified interpreters on-site or through video remote interpreting services, as defined in 28 CFR § 35.104 and § 36.303(b); note takers; real-time computer-aided transcription services; written materials; exchange of written notes; telephone handset amplifiers; assistive listening devices; assistive listening systems; telephones compatible with hearing aids; closed caption decoders; open and closed captioning, including real-time captioning; voice, text, and video-based telecommunication products and systems, text telephones (TTYs), videophones, and captioned telephones, or equally effective telecommunications devices; videotext displays; accessible electronic and information technology; or other effective methods of making aurally delivered information available to Participants who are deaf or hard of hearing; qualified readers; taped texts; audio recordings; Braille materials and displays; screen reader software; magnification software; optical readers; secondary auditory programs; large print materials; accessible electronic and information technology; or other effective methods of making visually delivered materials available to Participants who are blind or have low vision; and other similar services.
AUXILIARY AIDS. Services that enable persons with impaired sensory, manual, or speaking skills to have an equal opportunity to participate in, and enjoy the benefits of, programs or activities receiving Federal financial assistance. The type of auxiliary aid or service necessary to ensure effective communication will vary in accordance with the length and complexity of the communication involved. See 24 C.F.R. § 8.3.

Except as required by applicable laws, you agree that you will be responsible for the procurement and payment of all charges for any and all auxiliary aids. You also agree to be responsible for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act in the set up and conduct of meetings for your Event.

Option Dates These arrangements are being held on a first option basis until «DECISION». However, should another organization request the dates and be in a position to confirm immediately, you will be advised and given seven (7) days to confirm on a definite basis or so alternate dates can be researched and held for your use. By signing and returning the enclosed copy of this contract by «DECISION», you will enable us to establish these arrangements on a definite basis. Please note that it is the responsibility of your organization to notify the Your Hotel Name Here if you need to extend your option. If written confirmation is not received by the Your Hotel Name Here by «DECISION» your hold may be automatically released. or As we discussed, another organization currently holds a first option tentative commitment over the specified dates. Organization agrees that one week in advance of Organization will furnish a list of any auxiliary aids needed by Organization’s attendees in meeting or function space. Organization agrees to pay all charges associated with the provision of such aids. When Organization’s attendees make room reservations, please ask them to notify us of their auxiliary aid needs so that Hotel may notify Organization as to the names of businesses with which Organization may contract to obtain those aids.

AUXILIARY AIDS. The Hotel represents, and Group acknowledges that the Hotel facilities being rented for Group and the Event, including guest rooms, common areas and transportation services, will be in compliance with Hotel’s public accommodation requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Group agrees that at least one week in advance of the Event, Group will furnish to Hotel a list of any auxiliary aids needed by Group’s attendees or Guests in the Meeting Space. Group agrees to pay all charges associated with the provision of such aids. When Group’s attendees or any Guests make room reservations, Group shall ensure that each such Guest or attendee is aware that they are responsible for notifying the Hotel of their auxiliary aid needs so that the Hotel may notify Group or such Guest as to the names of businesses with which Group or such Guest may contract to obtain those aids. PROMOTIONAL CONSIDERATIONS: Group acknowledges and agrees that the Hotel has the right to review and approve, in its sole and absolute discretion, any advertisements or promotional materials distributed by Lancaster County Human Services that specifically reference any name or logo of Graduate Hotels, Collegiate Hotel Group, LLC and/or the Hotel. Group shall not display signs in the Hotel or use the name or logo of the Hotel or any franchisor of Hotel in any promotional materials without prior written approval of the Hotel, to be granted or withheld in Hotel’s sole and absolute discretion. Group further agrees that no sign, banner or display shall be affixed to any part of the Hotel. Group will be responsible for the cost of repairing any damages to the walls, fixtures or carpet caused by any such sign, banner or display. PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE: By entering into this Agreement, Group, on behalf of itself and each Guest, acknowledges and agrees that Hotel has permission to use photos, which may include images of the Group and the Guests, from NE Community Aid and Juvenile Justice Conference’s program for promotional or marketing purposes including but not limited to social and print media. FORCE MAJEURE: Either party may cancel the Event without liability to the other party upon the occurrence of any event or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of such party, which event or occurrence occurs after the execution of this Agreement but before the Event Date, including acts of God, declared war in the United States, acts of terrorism in the city where the Hotel premises is located, govern...
AUXILIARY AIDS. (1) A recipient that employs fifteen or more persons shall provide appropriate auxiliary aids to persons with impaired sensory, man- ual, or speaking skills, where necessary to afford such persons an equal oppor- tunity to benefit from the service in question.
AUXILIARY AIDS. Compliance by Hotel. Hotel shall be responsible for complying with the public accommodations requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA") not otherwise allocated to the Group in this Agreement, including: (i) the "readily achievable" removal of physical barriers to access to sleeping rooms, common areas (e.g., restaurants, rest rooms, and public telephones) and transportation services; (ii) the provision of equivalent facilitation, auxiliary aids and services where necessary; and (iii) the reasonable modification of Hotel's policies, practices and procedures applicable to all guests and/or groups as necessary to provide equivalent access to goods and services to disabled individuals. Compliance by Group. Group shall be responsible for complying with the following public accommodations requirements of the ADA: (i) the "readily achievable" removal of physical barriers within the meeting rooms utilized by Group which Group would otherwise create (e.g., set-up of exhibits in an accessible manner) and not controlled or mandated by Hotel; (ii) except as required by applicable laws, the procurement and payment of auxiliary aids and services where necessary to ensure effective communication of Group’s program to disabled participants (e.g., Braille or enlarged print handouts, interpreter or simultaneous videotext display); and (iii) the modification of Group’s policies, practices and procedures applicable to participants as required to enable disabled individuals to participate equally in the program. Hotel will, upon Group request, furnish Group with the names of businesses Group can contact to obtain these auxiliary aids. Cooperation in Identifying Special Needs. Group agrees that one week in advance of the Event, Group will furnish to Hotel a list of any auxiliary aids and/or services that Group will be providing to Group’s attendees in meeting or function space, as well as any other special needs of attendees with disabilities requiring accommodation by Hotel. Furthermore, Group agrees to notify the Hotel of such needs for accommodation as soon as they are identified to Group. Whenever possible, Group shall copy Hotel on correspondence with attendees who indicate special needs as covered by the ADA. Alternative Clause to be used if Hotel is outside the United States.
