Individuals with Disabilities. All of the CRWC sub‐regions have strong partnerships already developed with their local Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), with some offices having co‐located DVR case managers. With the move of DVR from the Department of Human Services to CDLE we envision that even more co‐location will be possible over the next couple of years. This co‐location will greatly streamline services by reducing confusion and duplication while optimizing coordination on plans for our customers. The CRWC will be exploring the development of procedures for co‐enrolling with the DVR programs which will be advantageous to both DVR and WIOA programs and give the customer a more robust package of services. The sub‐regions plans are to work with all engaged partners to identify ways to improve access and ways to make the services and programs more attractive to this population. Many of the workforce centers in the CRWC have assistive technology already present in the center and others have equipment on order, or anticipate ordering equipment to include adjustable workstations, visual magnification equipment, hearing augmentation devices, and supportive software. During 2015 each workforce center in the region will be evaluated for physical accessibility requirements.
