Plant. The expression ‘Plant’ as used in the tender papers shall mean every temporary accessory necessary or considered necessary by the Engineer to execute, construct, complete and maintain the work and all altered, modified, substituted and additional works ordered in the time and the manner herein provided and all temporary materials and special and other articles and appliance of every sort kind and description whatsoever intended or used therefore.

Plant the items hired under a Task Order, being listed in the Appendix and any substitutions, replacements or renewals made in accordance with this contract and, if applicable, any Operator, where context allows. Rental Payment: the payment to be made by the Purchaser under this contract for the hire of the Plant.

Understands Fix 32 computer operation, how to change variables, control field devices and how to silence alarms, obtain first out indication and knows all major groups. Can monitor and control plant keep within contract specifications. Level 3 - Successful completion of Praxair Operator Training Manual Module 14. - Is in possession of a valid compressor operators ticket. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Understands electrical supply and one-line layout, and can rack breakers in and out. Can manually operate emergency generator and transfer switch. BLAC's Understands design and layout. Can safely start up and place on line without purity upset from a 1 BLAC to a 2 BLAC operation. Is completely knowledgeable on all compressor indications and their significance to the machine. Variances from normal are noted and acted upon. Has complete knowledge of all oil and cooling systems.

Plant. In the event that Union dues are increased during the term of this Agreement, the Company shall be given fourteen (14) days prior notice. The Union shall indemnify and save harmless the Company, including its agents and employees, from any and all claims or actions, brought by an employee arising out of or in any way related to the deductions made in accordance with this article. All employees as of the signing of this Collective Agreement who are members of the Union, and all employees who become members such date, shall remain members of the Union. The Company agrees to recognize employees of the Company (excluding probationary employees), elected or appointed as Stewards to deal with matters under the scope of this Agreement. There shall be a maximum of one (1) Xxxxxxx for every twenty-five (25) employees in the bargaining unit, one of which will be the Chief Xxxxxxx. A list of these Stewards shall be supplied to the Company. Employees will be accompanied by a Xxxxxxx, if available, when being interviewed by a management representative relating to any form of action by the company. No Xxxxxxx or member of a Union committee shall leave his post of duty during his normal hours to discuss grievances with employees Union Representatives without receiving permission from his immediate Supervisor. This permission will not be unreasonably withheld. The Supervisor shall provide where necessary relief and such relief shall be within a reasonable period of time. If the Xxxxxxx must enter another department he shall advise the supervisor of that department of his presence on union business. The Company agrees to pay the regular hourly rate for time so spent, or for time spent in meeting with the Company. The Company shall provide a bulletin board for the use of the Union upon which the Union shall have the right to post notices relating to matters of interest to the Union and the employees. The contents of such notices shall not contain anything detrimental to Company interests. The Union Representative or other known Executive of the Union may make arrangements with the Plant Manager or his appointee to enter the plant during business hours to interview employees for the purpose of hearing grievances. It is understood that such visits will be timed to cause as little disruption as possible to the normal conduct of business.
