Hold over time, waiting time, industrial disputes, inclement weather or any other time spent because of delays/prolongation caused by others will be charged at the applicable standard or agreed contract hourly rates.
Exception to the maximum consecutive hours worked may be made by the Fire Chief or his/her designee if one of the following occurs: • Emergency activities require extended schedules • Hold over for travel time • Strike team assignment • Other special or unique circumstances as determined by the Chief All employees shall receive overtime compensation for all hours worked in excess of the employee’s normal schedule hours in a work cycle.
