Family Medical Leave Act Pursuant to the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, an employee who has been employed at least twelve (12) months and worked at least 1,250 hours during the prior 12-month period is entitled to twelve (12) work weeks of leave during any 12-month period without pay but with group health insurance coverage maintained for one or more of the following reasons:
Family Medical Leave (a) An employee is entitled to family medical leave in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act.
Family and Medical Leave Act All employees who worked for the Employer for a minimum of twelve (12) months and worked at least 1250 hours during the past twelve (12) months are eligible for unpaid leave as set forth in the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993. Eligible employees are entitled to up to a total of 12 weeks of unpaid leave during any twelve (12) month period for the following reasons:
Family Medical Leave or Critical Illness Leave a) Family Medical Leave or Critical Illness leaves granted to a permanent Teacher or long-term Occasional Teacher under this Article shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act, 2000, as amended.
Medical Leave Pursuant to applicable provisions of the Civil Service Rules, County Code, and other law, medical leaves of absence will be granted by the employee’s Department Head upon request only upon submission of a doctor’s certificate or other satisfactory medical evidence of the employee’s need for such leave.
Family and Medical Leave (FMLA FMLA leave shall be granted pursuant to applicable law.
