Conference Committee. The Conference Committee shall meet at least quarterly. It shall consist of the three elected representatives of the nurses plus one clinical unit representative appointed by the nurse bargaining unit, and an Association staff member, and five representatives of the Employer to include the Chief Nursing Executive and/or designee and one member of the Employer’s contract negotiating team. The purpose of the Conference Committee is to act in an advisory capacity to xxxxxx problem solving through communications between the Employer and nurses in the bargaining unit and deal with matters of nursing practice and general concern to the parties. Major organizational or policy changes in the nursing department that have a direct bearing on nursing practice or working conditions shall be an appropriate subject for discussion by the Conference Committee. Attendance at Conference Committee will be considered work time and will be paid at the regular rate of pay. A general group “grievance” as defined in this Agreement coming before the Conference Committee which is not resolved by the parties may be submitted in accordance with Article 18 at Step Two of the Grievance Procedure.

Conference Committee. The Employer, jointly with the elected representatives of the nurses, shall establish a Conference Committee to assist with personnel and other mutual problems. The purpose of the Conference Committee shall be to xxxxxx improved communications between the Employer and the nursing staff. The function of the committee shall be limited to an advisory rather than a decision-making capacity. The committee shall be established on a permanent basis and shall consist of four (4) representatives of the Employer and four (4) representatives of the Association. One of the Employer representatives shall be the Director of Clinical Service. All members of the committee shall be employees of the Hospital. Representatives on the Conference Committee may request meetings of the Committee to discuss nurse staffing issues and suggestions for constructive improvement relating to utilization of nursing personnel.
Conference Committee. Section 1: A Conference Committee is created for the purposes of conferring on matters pertaining to the overall operation of the bargaining unit staff; keeping both parties informed of changed and new developments; keeping the staff of the departments operating at peak efficiency; and addressing potential problems in an effort to keep such matters from becoming major in scope.

Participation on the Conference Committee shall be paid time not to exceed two (2) hours per meeting.

The seven (7) representatives shall be paid at the regular rate of pay for all time spent attending Conference Committee meetings.

The committee shall meet on a quarterly basis and shall consist of up to five (5) representatives of the Employer and up to seven (7) representatives of the nursing staff plus the WSNA Local Unit Chairperson and the WSNA Nursing Representative. All members of the committee shall be employees of the Hospital except for the WSNA Nursing Representative. Hours spent in attendance at the Conference Committee shall be paid for at the nurses’ applicable rate of pay.

Conference Committee. A. This committee shall consist of three (3) representatives of the Board, the Association President and two (2) representatives of the Association excluding witnesses should their attendance be mutually agreed upon.
Conference Committee. Three (3) unit representatives appointed by employee’s in the bargaining unit will, along with appropriate representatives of the Hospital, constitute the Conference Committee. Unless otherwise agreed, the Conference Committee shall meet on a quarterly basis for considering suggestions for improvements in quality of patient care, employee relations, or any other matter of mutual concern to the employees and the Employer. If an agenda item is not presented by either party at least five (5) days in advance of a scheduled meeting, the meeting will be cancelled. No modifications to this Agreement will be made by the Committee, unless authorized representatives of both the Union and the Employer agree in writing. Actual time spent attending scheduled Conference Committee meetings will be considered paid time at employee representatives’ applicable rate of pay, except that employee representatives who attend meetings on a date/time when they are not scheduled to work, will not be eligible for overtime, extra shift pay, or any other premium pay (including, but not limited, rest between shift premium). The Employer will release employee representatives to attend the meeting(s), provided that patient care and/or operational needs permit.
Conference Committee. A Conference Committee consisting of three (3) persons appointed by the Employer and three (3) persons elected by the members of the unit shall be established for the purpose of considering suggestions for improvements in quality of patient care, employee relations, or any other matter of mutual concern to the employees and the Employer. Committee members shall suffer no loss of pay if they attend Conference Committee meetings with Employer representatives while on duty status. Per Article 5.9, paragraph 4, the Nurse Executive or Administrator will provide his/her response to the Conference Committee. The Conference Committee will meet monthly provided that agenda items are presented by either party to the other no later than 5 calendar days prior to the scheduled meeting. Should no agenda items be received, the meeting will be cancelled. The parties agree that use of on call employees shall be a quarterly standing agenda item. When issues arise that affect specific job classes, departments or subgroups, sub-committees may be developed to address these issues. Subcommittees will be scheduled at mutually agreed upon dates and times. The Conference Committee will designate the number of Union and Employer representatives on each sub-committee.
