Nurse Practice Committee. A Nursing Practice Committee shall be instituted and maintained at the Hospital. The purpose of this committee shall be to discuss and improve nursing practices in the Hospital. The committee shall develop specific objectives subject to review by Hospital Administration. The committee shall be composed of ten (10) staff nurses, the majority of whom shall be elected by the local unit, plus one representative from Nursing Administration. The committee will be representative of all clinical areas and shifts. Organizational aspects of the committee shall be determined by the committee. This committee shall be advisory and will not discuss matters subject to collective bargaining or the Association’s contract. Nurses shall have the responsibility for instituting the Nursing Practice Committee. The Committee will meet bimonthly unless the Committee decides to meet less frequently or Nursing Administration agrees to meeting more frequently.

The members of the committee (excluding the Nursing Administration representative) will be elected by staff nurses. The committee will be representative of all clinical areas and shifts. Organizational aspects of the committee shall be determined by the committee. This committee shall be advisory and will not discuss matters subject to collective bargaining or the Association contract. Nurses shall have the responsibility for instituting the Nursing Practice Committee.
Nurse Practice Committee. The Nurse Practice Committee shall be inactive as long as nursing practice issues are being addressed by other Hospital standing committees. Should the above indicated condition change, the Nurse Practice Committee will be reinstituted and in such an event its purpose shall be to discuss and improve nursing practices at the Hospital. The Committee shall develop specific objectives to be reviewed by the Hospital Administration. The Committee shall be entirely composed of staff nurses plus one (1) representative from Nursing Administration. The members of the committee (excluding the Nursing Administration representative) will be elected by staff nurses. The Committee will be representative of all clinical areas and shifts. Organizational aspects of the Committee shall be determined by the committee. Each Committee member shall be given release or compensatory time at the straight time rate for the time spent attending committee meetings. This committee shall be advisory and will not discuss matters subject to collective bargaining or the Association's contract. Nurses shall have the responsibility for instituting the Nursing Practice Committee.
Nurse Practice Committee. The parties have formed a joint Nurse Practice Committee. The Committee will consist of up to three (3) supervisors (rotating according to topics to be addressed) and up to three (3) bargaining unit nurses selected by XXX (rotating according to topics to be addressed). “Nurses selected by ONA” means any and all public health nurses who attend the Committee meetings. One (1) supervisor and one (1) nurse will be standing members of the committee to assure continuity. The committee will establish a regular meeting schedule, based on the needs of the constituents. The Committee will meet at least quarterly, but the meeting may be cancelled upon agreement of the standing members of the Committee. The committee will also establish operating principles including ground rules and meeting time limits, and will prepare and distribute an agenda prior to the meeting. The Committee will function in an advisory capacity. The purpose of the Committee is to review concerns related to nursing practice which may include, but are not limited to ethics, evidenced-based practice, research and its impact on policy and procedures, standards of care, clinical practice, licensure, and cross training.
Nurse Practice Committee. The Nurse Practice Committee shall be composed of five (5) regular staff nurses, from different units to the extent practicable, employed by the Medical Center and covered by this Agreement, and the WSNA Nurse Representative and four
Nurse Practice Committee. The Nurse Practice Committee shall be a subcommittee of the Standards Committee. The subject of staffing, acuity systems, scheduling policies and the effective and efficient utilization of nurses will be addressed in the Nurse Practice Committee.
Nurse Practice Committee. The Employer agrees to establish and maintain a Nurses Practice Committee under such rules as may be established by the Employer for the purpose of discussing matters of concern regarding nursing practices. These discussions shall not be considered collective bargaining negotiations but rather discussions between the Employer and its employees regarding professional nursing practices.

The Committee shall be composed of six (6) Central Washington Hospital Staff Nurses, who are elected by their peers, and three (3) representatives from Hospital management, plus the CH Chief Nursing Officer. Elected representatives will serve a two (2) year term, which shall be staggered among representatives to ensure the Nurse Practice Committee retains some experienced committee members. Organizational aspects of the Nurse Practice Committee shall be determined by the committee. Staff Nurses shall have the responsibility for instituting the Nursing Practice Committee. The purpose of the committee shall be:
Nurse Practice Committee. The Employer, jointly with the elected representatives of the staff nurses of the Employer, shall establish a Nurse Practice Committee to assist with nursing practice issues. The purpose of this committee shall be to discuss and improve nursing practice including the evaluating of staffing needs. The function of the committee shall be limited to an advisory rather than a decision-making capacity. The committee shall be established on a permanent basis. It shall have Employer and bargaining unit Co-Chairs and consist of at least 2 but no more than six (6) representatives of management and nurses of the Employer and shall meet every second month but at least quarterly. These meetings shall be in alternate months from those of the Conference Committee or as mutually agreed upon. Committee meeting agendas shall be mutually developed by the Committee.
Nurse Practice Committee. The Nurse Practice Committee (NPC) shall be composed of five (5) regular staff nurses, elected by the staff nurses from different units to the extent practicable, one of whom will be selected by the staff nurse members as a co-Chair of the Committee, and four (4) representatives of Nursing Administration, including the Chief Nursing Officer or designee, one of whom will be selected by management as a co-Chair of the Committee. If at least two (2) Nursing Administrative members and three (3) staff nurses are available for the committee meeting, the meeting will take place and not be cancelled. The NPC shall meet quarterly unless the co-Chairs of the Committee agree to more or less frequent meetings. The co- Chairs of the Committee will prepare a substantive agenda at least one week in advance of each meeting. Minutes will be kept of NPC meetings. The NPC serves in an advisory capacity and the Medical Center recognizes the responsibility of the NPC to recommend measures to improve nursing practice and patient care, and shall duly consider such recommendations and shall so advise the committee of actions taken.
