Chief Nursing Executive definition

Chief Nursing Executive means the senior nurse employed by the Hospital who reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for nursing services provided in the Hospital;
Chief Nursing Executive means the senior employee appointed by the process established by the Chief Executive Officer and responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for the nursing functions and practices in the Hospital;
Chief Nursing Executive means the senior nursing employee responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for the nursing services provided in the Hospital;

Examples of Chief Nursing Executive in a sentence

  • This committee shall include representatives of the Hospital, one of whom shall be the Chief Nursing Executive; or designate and another, a Human Resources representative; and of the Union, one of whom shall be the Bargaining Unit President or designate.

  • If there is no settlement within nine (9) calendar days, it shall then be taken up as a grievance within nine (9) calendar days in the following manner and sequence: The nurse may submit a written grievance, through the Union, signed by the nurse, to the Chief Nursing Executive; or designate.
