New Developments definition

New Developments means inventions, or claims to inventions, which constitute advancements, developments or improvements, whether or not patentable and whether or not the subject of any patent application, which are not sufficiently supported by the specification of a previously-filed patent or patent application within the Patent Rights to be entitled to the priority date of the previously-filed patent or patent application.

New Developments means any improvements based on the Proprietary Rights, and any inventions or discoveries in the field of miniaturization of instrumentation for analysis and synthesis by the inventor of the Proprietary Rights, which are designed to be used in combination with Products based on the Proprietary Rights herein. These do not include improvements, inventions or discoveries for which the title to same may be elected by another company under existing Energy Systems policies, unless such rights revert to Energy Systems and are applicable to the definition of "New Developments" as defined in this paragraph.

New Developments means, as of any date, a Project which has been open and operating for less than four (4) full fiscal quarters of the Borrower.

Examples of New Developments in a sentence

• The plan must comply with the Council's Policy for Waste Minimisation in New Developments 2005.

• Reason: To ensure a satisfactory appearance on completion of the development in accordance with Policy DM10 (Design Requirements for New Developments including House Extensions) of the LDF Core Strategy Adopted April 2012.

• The building must incorporate designated areas or separate garbage rooms constructed in accordance with Council’s Policy for Waste Minimisation in New Developments 2005, to facilitate the separation of commercial waste and recycling from residential waste and recycling.

• The proposal must comply with the relevant provisions of Council's Policy for Waste Minimisation in New Developments 2005 which requires facilities to minimise and manage waste and recycling generated by the proposal.

• Reason: To safeguard the amenities of the adjoining residential occupiers in accordance with Policy DM10 (Design Requirements for New Developments including House Extensions) of the LDF Core Strategy Adopted April 2012.

More Definitions of New Developments

New Developments means new developments to ALU’s Intellectual Property required to provide or use the Services;

New Developments means new Systems implemented by Supplier that are substantially different from the existing Systems, including major replacements to existing Systems and any directly related major replacements to work processes, policies and procedures implemented by Supplier.

New Developments shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.

New Developments shall have the meaning as defined in Section 9.4.

New Developments means inventions and/or technologies (i) discovered or invented in the performance of the Sponsored Research Program, (ii) funded by and within the scope of the Sponsored Research Program, (iii) but not directed to the subject matter specifically described by the specification or claims of Patent Rights and (iv) is not a new factor or target affecting axon growth. New Developments do not include Improvements.

New Developments are defined as any and all improvements, inventions, discoveries, ideas and other things, whether patentable or not, that are made or conceived by Consultant (whether alone or with others), and that relate to or arise out of the services performed for Optiva. Consultant agrees to promptly disclose to Optiva any New Developments, and that such New Developments shall be and remain the sole and exclusive property of Optiva, and that Consultant shall, at Optiva's request and without further compensation, do all things reasonably necessary to insure Optiva's ownership of such New Developments.
