The Conference. 1 — The conference shall consist of representatives of the associate members. The conference shall meet once a year in plenary session and shall take decisions by a simple majority. The affiliate members may par- ticipate in the annual plenary sessions of the conference. Institutions and regional or international organisations that are not associate or affiliate members of the Insti- tute may be invited to attend the plenary sessions of the conference in accordance with the rules established by the board.
2 — The conference shall, inter alia:
a) Appoint the members of the board in accordance with article 8, paragraph 2, b), c) and d);
b) Determine the membership fees for the associate and affiliate members;
c) Make recommendations to initiate activities with a view to the realisation of the purposes of the Institute;
d) Approve the audited financial statements;
e) Approve the work plan for the following year sub- mitted by the board;
f) Review and adopt the annual report on the Insti- tute’s activities; and
g) Approve and amend its rules of procedure.
The Conference. (1) The Conference will be mainly hosted in turn by each of the Parties in the initial stage.
(2) In accordance with the needs of the times, if a fourth country is willing to hold the conference, it should apply in writing and be approved by the Organizing Committee.
The Conference. 3.1 ESCCA will make the Conference available for the period of the Conference Dates. In addition all scientific lectures will be available on a virtual platform for the duration of 6 month after the Conference.
3.2 The Applicant may cancel his registration by sending written notice of cancellation (“Cancellation Notice”) by email to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇@▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇.
3.3 In the event that ESCCA receives the Applicant’s Cancellation Notice the following refund policy applies: • 15% fee for cancellations received on or before 15 February 2021 • 50% fee for cancellation received between 16 February and 5 April 2021 • No refunds will be given for cancellations received after 5 April 2021
3.4 The parties acknowledge that each Applicant contract relating to the Conference is deemed to be separate and independent to other Applicant contracts (including the Agreement) and that any variation and/or waiver to a third party Applicant contract will not affect the parties’ rights and obligations under the Agreement unless such variation and/ or waiver is made in accordance with the terms of the Agreement.

The Conference. 1. The Members of the Conference are the States parties to this Agreement.
2. The Conference may, by decision taken by unanimous vote of the Members present and voting, permit other European States, as well as States which have made an important contribution to the work of EMBO from its foundation, to become Members by acceding to this Agreement after it has come into force.
3. The Conference may, by unanimous vote of the Members present and voting, establish cooperation with non-Member States, national bodies or international governmental or non-governmental organisations. The conditions and terms of such cooperation shall be defined by the Conference, by unanimous vote of the Members present and voting, in each case according to the circumstances.
The Conference. Arbitration Panel shall issue a "bench decision" at the conclusion of the grievance hearing, unless the Committee's Rules of Procedure provides otherwise in discharge cases. Either party, however, may request a clarification or further explanation of a previous decision rendered by the Conference Arbitration Panel.

The Conference. The parties will develop a model for the joint provision of the Conference with obligations and responsibilities for each party, a proposed Conference schedule and parameters for certain Conference expenditures outlined in greater detail in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof.
