The 'Elected Representatives' clause defines the process and criteria for selecting individuals who will act on behalf of a group or organization in official capacities. Elected Representatives. ▪ Selection Process A democratic selection process will be used to recruit PPF HC representatives and deputy representatives. A process has been agreed to support this (Appendix 2) ▪ Term of Office The term of office for PPF HC representatives will be 3 years, however if a PPF HC representative cannot for any reason continue within the role for the appointed 3 years, it would be desirable if they could give three months notice to the PPF HC. The PPF HC may also ask a PPF HC representative to step down before the 3 year term ends where the agreed code of conduct / working agreement has been breached (see Appendix 2 - Processes and Rules governing Formal Membership) ▪ Key Component of Role The PPF HC representative/s will represent the views of the PPF HC, not their own personal views. These views will be agreed at the PPF HC meetings.
Elected Representatives. An Elected Representative is an Associate who is elected by a group of Associates to represent them and will be recognised by the company upon notification. There will be up to one Elected Representative and one Deputy per day and afternoon shift per factory. All time paid while acting in this role will be single time inclusive of shift loading where applicable.
