Shift Pay. Each full-time employee scheduled to work on any shift commencing after 9:00 a.m. shall be paid a shift premium of seventy- five cents ($0.75) per hour for all hours worked by him/her on that shift and overtime hours worked in continuity with such shift. Shift premiums payable under this provision shall not be included as part of the employee’s regular pay for purposes of computing overtime pay.
Shift Pay. 24.1 All bargaining unit members are eligible for and working rotating shifts and, therefore, shall annually receive six hundred dollars ($600.00), to be paid quarterly consistent with uniform maintenance allowance.
Shift Pay. An employee working other than normal, day shift hours will be paid an additional percentage of base pay as shown below while working during the shift identified: 2nd shift – 2.5% 3rd shift – 5% Employees paid on an hourly basis will not be permitted to change shifts with each other for personal convenience or other reasons without written approval of the Management. If such an approval is received and one person works for the other, the employee who actually works the shift in questions will not be paid at the overtime rate if, because of working this shift, the total hours worked in that week run over forty (40) hours.
Shift Pay. Any shift starting between the hours of 6:00 pm and midnight inclusive shall receive an additional one dollar ($1.00) per hour for all hours worked that shift and shall be consistent with the above hourly minimums in 5.4.3. When possible, the Employer shall notify employees of night work at least one (1) week in advance.
Shift Pay. Unit employees who are assigned to certain shifts shall receive extra pay as follows:
Shift Pay. A shift may be any continuous shift of work conducted outside the regular shift on a project, scheduled to commence not before 12:00 noon and not later than 1:00 a.m. The hours of work for a shift shall be eight (8) hours exclusive of a lunch period, with a ten (10) minute break in each four (4) hour period. The rate for shift work shall be the regular wage rate plus twelve percent (12%) for each hour worked (including overtime hours worked) except in the case of emergency one day callouts, which will not start later than 3:00 pm without shift premium applying. The Union shall be advised when shifts are scheduled. Shift Pay a. Employees assigned to a swing shift shall receive a shift differential of 3% of base salary just for the days when the swing shift occurs.
Shift Pay. An employee who is scheduled to work not less than four (4) hours of the employee’s regular work shift during the evening (swing) shift or night (graveyard) shift shall receive the following shift premiums for all scheduled hours worked during such shift: Effective December 30, 2015 SWING SHIFT $.75 per hour
Shift Pay. 14:01 Members of the Police Service who are assigned to work rotating shifts (i.e. required to change from one shift to another), will be paid the following shift premiums: Afternoon shift (i.e. shifts beginning between 1200 hours and 1800 hours and ending between 2000 hours and 0400 hours) - Twenty cents (.20) per hour for shift hours worked.
Shift Pay. A. SHIFT WORK: The first eight (8) hours worked on any shift shall constitute a day's work. Each shift shall include thirty (30) minutes for lunch. The rate of wages for employees shall be as set forth in Appendix A of this Agreement. All shifts worked outside of regular work day hours, as defined in Article II, Section 1A – Hours, shall receive shift pay in addition to, where applicable, overtime pay based on the shift rate of pay.
