Grievance Committee. The Hospital will recognize a Grievance Committee composed of the Chief Xxxxxxx and not more than (as set out in Local Provisions Appendix) employees selected by the Union who have completed their probationary period. A general representative of the Union may be present at any meeting of the Committee. The purpose of the Committee is to deal with complaints or grievances as set out in this Collective Agreement. The Union shall keep the Hospital notified in writing of the names of the members of the Grievance Committee appointed or selected under this Article as well as the effective date of their respective appointments. A Committee member shall suffer no loss of earnings for time spent during their regular scheduled working hours in attending grievance meetings with the Hospital up to, but not including arbitration. The number of employees on the Grievance Committee shall be determined locally.

The purpose of the committee is to deal with grievances as set out in this Collective Agreement. The grievor will be entitled to attend any meeting pertaining to his/her grievance. A general representative of the union may be present at any meeting of the grievance committee. The purpose of the committee is to deal with grievances as set out in this collective agreement. Grievance committee representatives shall suffer no loss of earnings for time spent during their regular scheduled working hours in attending these meetings up to but not including arbitration.
Grievance Committee. (a) The Hospital will recognize a Grievance Committee composed of up to four (4) Union members, one of whom will be the grievor, selected by the Union who have completed their probationary period. A general representative of the Union may be present at any meeting of the Committee. The purpose of the Committee is to deal with complaints or grievances as set out in this Collective Agreement.
Grievance Committee. The Union Grievance Committee shall consist of not more than three (3) employees, with three (3) alternates, one of whom may be substituted for a regular member at any meeting. The names of the Grievance Committee shall be furnished to the Human Resources Manager. The Company agrees to recognize this Committee as the representative of the employees and to meet with this Committee. The duties of the Committee shall be to present to and adjust any and all matters with the Company referred to it in the designated manner. The right is reserved by the Union to change any or all of a Grievance Committee at any time deemed necessary, but the Union shall notify the Company of any change in membership of the Grievance Committee at least seven (7) calendar days before the date of any meeting. Meetings necessary for the disposition of grievances shall take place at reasonable times, having due regard to operating requirements. A total of two (2) employees (members of the Grievance Committee and a grievant) shall not lose regular straight time pay while actually attending a Second and Third Step grievance meeting.
Grievance Committee. Any grievance not resolved by means of the informal procedure may be submitted in writing by the Bargaining Agent to the Commissioner of Higher Education within ten days of receipt of the Personnel Officer’s response. Upon receipt of the request to convene a grievance committee, the Commissioner of Higher Education shall appoint a committee comprised of two members selected by management and two members selected by the Bargaining Agent to hear the grievance. No employee of the unit from which the grievance originated may be selected by management or the Bargaining Agent to serve on the committee. The grievance committee shall conduct the hearing at the unit from which the grievance originated and shall arrive at a decision within ten working days following the date upon which the grievance is heard by the committee.
Grievance Committee. (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize nurse representatives to be elected or appointed from amongst nurses in the bargaining unit for the purpose of dealing with Association business as provided in this Collective Agreement. The number of representatives and the areas which they represent are set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions. The Hospital recognize a Grievance Committee, one of whom shall be chairperson. This Committee operate and conduct itself in accordance with the provisions of the Collective Agreement and the number of nurses on the Grievance is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions. It is agreed that nurse members of the Grievance have their regular duties and responsibilities to perform for the Hospital and shall not leave their regular duties without first obtaining permission from their immediate supervisor. permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. If, in the performance of their duties, a nurse representative member of the Grievance is required to enter a nursing unit within the hospital in which she is not ordinarily employed she shall, i ties immediately upon entering such nursing unit, report her presence to the supervisor or nurse in charge, as the case may be. Grievance Committee a. The Union shall provide the Company with an updated written list of individuals who comprise its Grievance Committee, including a chair and a secretary. The number of members of the Committee at each Plant shall be agreed upon by the Plant Manager and the Local Union President/Unit Chair, but in no case shall there be less than three (3) nor more than ten (10) members and no more than one (1) member of the Committee shall be from any one department (excluding the Grievance Chair).
