Preauthorized Credits- You may make arrangements for certain direct deposits to be accepted into your share draft, share saving or loan account(s). Preauthorized Payments- You may make arrangements to pay certain recurring bills from your share draft or share savings account (s). Electronic Check or Draft Conversion- types of transfers- Your check or draft can result in an electronic funds transfer. This can happen in several ways. For example: • You can purchase goods or pay for services and authorize a merchant or service provider to convert your check or draft into an electronic funds transfer. • At the time you offer a check or draft to a merchant or service provider, you may be asked to authorize the merchant or service provider to electronically collect a charge in the event the check or draft is returned for insufficient funds. Paying such a fee electronically is an electronic funds transfer. Your authorization to make these types of electronic funds transfers may be expressed in writing or implied through the posting of a sign. Tell us AT ONCE if you believe your card, account number, PIN, or passcode has been lost or stolen, or if you believe that an electronic funds transfer has been made without your permission using information from your account. Telephoning us is the best way of keeping your possible losses down. You could lose all the money in your account (plus your maximum overdraft line of credit). If you tell us within two (2) Business Days after you learn of the loss or theft of your card, account number, PIN, or passcode, you can lose no more than $50 if someone used your card, account number, PIN, or passcode without your permission. If you do NOT tell us with in two (2) Business Days after you learn of the loss or theft of your card, account number, PIN, or passcode, and we can please we could have stopped someone from using your card, account number, PIN, or passcode without your permission if you had told us, you could lose as much as $500. Also, if your statement shows transfers that you did not make, including those made by card, code, or other means, tell us at once. If a good reason (such as a long trip or a hospital stay) kept you from telling us, we will extend the time periods for a reasonable period. Additional Limit on Liability for Mastercard debit card. You will not be liable for any on authorized transactions using your Mastercard debit card if: (i) you can demonstrate that you have exercised reasonable care in safe guarding your card from the risk of loss or theft, and (ii) upon becoming aware of a loss or theft, you promptly report the loss or theft to us. ELECTRONIC FUND TRANSFERS YOUR RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. This disclosure includes the additional rights and responsibilities that you may have pertaining to electronic fund transfers, and applies only to Accounts established primarily for personal, family, or household purposes. Electronic fund transfers include transfers of funds initiated through an electronic terminal, telephone, computer, or magnetic tape for the purpose of ordering, instructing, or authorizing a financial institution to debit or credit an Account. Examples of electronic fund transfers are automated teller machine (“ATM”), point-of-sale (“POS”), and Debit MasterCard transactions, direct deposits, pre-authorized withdrawals of funds, computer-initiated transactions, electronic check conversion transactions and telephone transfers. A separate agreement governing online banking and bill payment services is provided to members enrolling for those services.
