Your Password. For security purposes, you are required to change your Password upon your initial login to Internet Banking. You determine what Password you will use. The identity of your Password is not known to us. You agree that we are authorized to act on instructions received under your Password. You accept responsibility for the confidentiality and security of your Password and agree to change your Password regularly. Upon three unsuccessful attempts to use your Password, your access to Internet Banking will be revoked. To re‐establish your authorization to access Internet Banking, you must contact us to have your Password reset or to obtain a new temporary Password. If the confidentiality of your user name or Password is, or you believe may be, compromised, you agree to notify us immediately. In the event your user name or Password is compromised you may be required to establish a new one. You must take every precaution to ensure the safety, security and integrity of your Accounts and transactions with the Services. Your user name and Password allow access to your Accounts and the Services provided for herein; providing these to another person shall constitute a grant of authority to access your Accounts for all purposes, including, without limitation, access under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act and Regulation E, as applicable. Such authorization shall continue until you have notified us that such person is not authorized to act with regard to your Accounts and the Services. We recommend that you create a Password that utilizes numeric and alphanumeric characters for purposes of security. Your Password should not be associated with any commonly known personal identification, such as social security numbers, address, date of birth, names of children, and should be memorized rather than written down.

Your Password. For security purposes, you are required to create a user name and password upon your initial login to Online Banking. You determine what password you will use and the identity of your password is not communicated to us. You agree that we are authorized to act on instructions received under your password. You accept responsibility for the confidentiality and security of your password and agree to change your password regularly. It is strongly encouraged that you change your password periodically; however, the Online Banking system will not automatically prompt you to do so. In addition, if you do not sign into the Online Banking system for a period of 90 days, your access to the system will be revoked. To re-establish your authorization to use Online Banking, you must contact us. Upon three (3) unsuccessful attempts to use your password, your access to Online Banking will be revoked. To re-establish your authorization to use Online Banking, you must contact us to have your password reset or to obtain a new temporary password. We require that you create at least a six (6) digit password that utilizes both alpha and numeric characters for purposes of security. Your password should not be associated with commonly known personal identification, such as social security numbers, address, dates of birth, names of children, and should be memorized rather than written down.
Your Password. You will establish and use a Password to obtain access to the Services. You accept responsibility for the confidentiality and security of your Password as detailed further in this Agreement, and agree to change your Password periodically. You agree to keep your Password in a secure location and physically separated from your Web Access Device. We recommend that you memorize your Password and not write it down. You may use the Forgotten Password feature located on the log-in page (prior to being blocked from the service) or telephone Katahdin Trust Company's Electronic Banking Department toll-free at 0-000-000-0000. Authorized Use of the Services by Other Persons: You are responsible for keeping your Password and Account data confidential. Because your Password can be used to access money in any of your Accounts and to access information about any of your linked Accounts, including reviewing account information, making transfers, or payments linked for Online Banking Access, you should treat your Password with the same degree of care and secrecy that you use to protect other sensitive personal financial data. You agree not to give your Password, or make it available, to any other person. You are solely responsible for closely and regularly monitoring your accounts with the Bank and transactions through security and integrity of your web access device, including the use of commercially reasonable anti-virus and firewall safeguards. We are entitled to act on transaction instructions received using your Password, and you agree that the use of your Password will have the same effect as your signature authorizing the transaction. Your Password. You must be enrolled in our Business Online Banking Service (see section 8) before you can use this Service. In order to access this Service, you will use the same Password and/or other means of identification and authentication you use to access our Business Online Banking Service.
