The Government. Ministry:

The Government. The Ministry of Forestry regulates the TLAS and authorises the accredited LPs to undertake SFM assessment and LVs to undertake legality verification and to issue V-Legal Documents. Furthermore, the Ministry of Forestry also regulates the Licence Information Unit (LIU) as a unit responsible for information exchange which receives and stores relevant data and information on the issuance of V-Legal Documents and which responds to queries from competent authorities or stakeholders.

The Government. Local authorities

The Government. (i) represents and warrants that, on the Effective Date, there are no national parks, nature reserves or other protected areas located in whole or in part within the Contract Area where the CONTRACTOR shall not be entitled to carry out Petroleum Operations and (ii) covenants that during the term of this Contract will not designate or create or permit the creation of any national parks, nature reserves or other protected areas, located in whole or in part within the Contract Area.

The Government. 1. The participation of the elements and entities of the ICD in the transitional government shall be based on the manner of their participation in the ICD at Sun City. 2. The transitional government shall be composed of the following Ministries: Interior, Decentralisation and Security Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Regional Cooperation National Defence, Demobilisation and War Veterans Women's and Family Affairs Justice Human Rights The Press and Information Planning Budget Finance Economic Affairs Industry and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Mining Energy Foreign Trade Portfolio Matters Public Service Agriculture Rural Development Posts and Telecommunications Scientific Research Public Works and Infrastructure Transport Culture and Arts Environment Tourism Land Affairs Town Planning Health Higher and University Education Primary and Secondary Education Labour and Social Welfare Social Affairs Youth and Sport Solidarity and Humanitarian Affairs 3. The transitional government shall also comprise the deputy ministers responsible for the following portfolios: Foreign Affairs Interior Integration of the Army International Cooperation Defence War Veterans and Demobilisation Security and Public Order Justice The Press and Information Planning Finance Budget Portfolio Matters Mining Energy Trade Agriculture Public Works and Infrastructure Public Service Transport Health Higher and University Education Primary and Secondary Education and Vocational Training Social Affairs Labour and Social Welfare 4. Seven ministries and four deputy minister posts shall be allocated to each of the following elements: the Government, RCD, MLC and the political opposition (see Tables). 5. Two ministries and three deputy minister posts shall be allocated to the civil society component (in addition to the Presidency and five institutions supporting democracy) (see Tables). 6. Two ministries and two deputy minister posts shall be allocated to each of the following entities: RCD-ML, RCD-N and Mai-Mai (see Tables).

The Government. All those arrested during the operations by the government would be released and they would not be re-arrested for the incidents of the past.

The Government a. The Government shall consist of a Prime Minister; a Deputy Prime Minister; and Ministers, each of whom shall have a Deputy. No Deputy (including the Deputy Prime Minister) may be from the same constituent people as his Minister. b. The President, with the concurrence of the Vice-President, shall nominate the Government, which shall be elected by the House of Representatives. No fewer than one-third of the Ministerial positions shall be occupied by Croats. c. The Prime Minister shall be the head of government.

The Government. The Government represents and warrants on the Signature Date and the Effective Date that: its signatory has full power and authority to execute and deliver this Agreement on behalf of the Government and that the Government has the full power and authority to perform its obligations hereunder; the execution, delivery and performance of this Agreement by or on behalf of the Government (i) has been duly authorised by all requisite action on the part of the Government and (ii) will not (A) violate the Laws of the Relevant Jurisdiction or (B) violate, be in conflict with, result in a breach of or constitute (with due notice or lapse of time or both) a default under any indenture, agreement for borrowed money, bond, note, instrument or other agreement to which the Government is a party or by which the Government or its property is bound; this Agreement has been duly executed and delivered by its signatory on behalf of the Government; this Agreement constitutes a legal, valid and binding obligation of the Government, enforceable against it in accordance with its terms; no filing or registration with, notice to or permit, authorisation, consent or approval is required for the execution, delivery or performance of this Agreement by the Government except for such permits, authorisations, consents or approvals as have been obtained; the Government is not in default under any agreement or instrument of any nature whatsoever to which it is a party or by which it is bound in any manner that would have a material adverse effect on its ability to perform its obligations hereunder or the validity or enforceability of this Agreement; and there is no action, suit, proceeding or investigation pending or to the Government's knowledge, threatened against the Government which if adversely determined, would have a material adverse effect on its ability to perform its obligations hereunder or the validity or enforceability of this Agreement.

The Government guarantees to the CONTRACTOR, for the entire duration of this Contract, that it will maintain the stability of the legal, fiscal and economic conditions of this Contract, as they result from this Contract and as they result from the laws and regulations in force on the date of signature of this Contract. The CONTRACTOR has entered into this Contract on the basis of the legal, fiscal and economic framework prevailing at the Effective Date. If, at any time after the Effective Date, there is any change in the legal, fiscal and/or economic framework under the Kurdistan Region Law or other Law applicable in or to the Kurdistan Region which detrimentally affects the CONTRACTOR, the CONTRACTOR Entities or any other Person entitled to benefits under this Contract, the terms and conditions of the Contract shall be altered so as to restore the CONTRACTOR, the CONTRACTOR Entities and any other Person entitled to benefits under this Contract to the same overall economic position (taking into account home country taxes) as that which such Person would have been in, had no such change in the legal, fiscal and/or economic framework occurred.
