USING YOUR CARD. You understand that the use of your credit card or credit card account will constitute acknowledgement of receipt and agreement to the terms of the Credit Card Agreement and Credit Card Account Opening Disclosure (Disclosure). You may use your card to make purchases from merchants and others who accept your card. The credit union is not responsible for the refusal of any merchant or financial institution to honor your card. If you wish to pay for goods or services over the Internet, you may be required to provide card number security information before you will be permitted to complete the transaction. In addition, you may obtain cash advances from the Credit Union, from other financial institutions that accept your card, and from some automated teller machines (ATMs). (Not all ATMs accept your card.) If the credit union authorizes ATM transactions with your card, it will issue you a personal identification number (PIN). To obtain cash advances from an ATM, you must use the PIN issued to you for use with your card. You agree that you will not use your card for any transaction that is illegal under applicable federal, state, or local law. Even if you use your card for an illegal transaction, you will be responsible for all amounts and charges incurred in connection with the transaction. If you are permitted to obtain cash advances on your account, you may also use your card to purchase instruments and engage in transactions that we consider the equivalent of cash. Such transactions will be posted to your account as cash advances and include, but are not limited to, wire transfers, money orders, bets, lottery tickets, and casino gaming chips, as applicable. This paragraph shall not be interpreted as permitting or authorizing any transaction that is illegal.
USING YOUR CARD. You may use your Card to make purchases from merchants and others who accept VISA Cards. However, you may not use your Card to initiate any type of electronic gambling transaction through the Internet. Your Card may not be used for any illegal transaction(s). If you wish to pay for goods or services over the Internet, you may be required to provide card member security information before you will be permitted to complete the transaction. In addition, you may obtain cash advances from Credit Union and from other financial institutions that accept VISA Cards, and from some automated teller machines (ATMs). (Not all ATMs accept VISA Cards.) To obtain cash advances from an ATM, you must use the Personal Identification Number (PIN) that is issued to you for use with your Card. You will hold in strict confidence the Account number and any PIN to be used with the Card. You will notify Credit Union immediately of the loss or theft of the Card or PIN.
USING YOUR CARD. You must sign the back of the Card. The Card is a non-reloadable, prepaid debit reward card which is loaded with an amount in U.S. Dollars, and does not allow for ATM access. You can use the Card as often as you like, provided that you do not exceed the value stored on the Card. We may restrict the use of your Card if we notice excessive use of your Card which may constitute suspicious activity. You authorize us to pay all transactions initiated with the Card and to debit the total amount of such transactions from the value of the Card. You agree that the use of the Card with any merchant, whether or not you have signed any sales or debit authorization, will constitute a simultaneous withdrawal from and/or demand upon the value of the Card. You cannot “stop payment” on any transaction after it has been completed. The Card cannot be used: (1) to obtain cash, except in the event of its cancellation, as described in this Agreement; (2) for gambling or any unlawful activity, or (3) to make regular, preauthorized payments to third parties. We are not liable for declining an authorization for any particular transaction, regardless of our reason. You should get a receipt at the time you make a transaction using your Card. You agree to retain your receipt to verify your transactions. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or any other aspect of any goods or services you purchase with your Card.
USING YOUR CARD. You can purchase or lease goods and services from any merchant who honors your Card. For Platinum, Classic, and Signature Reward Cards, your cash advance limit is 50% of your credit limit. For Secured Cards, you may obtain cash advances and balance transfers up to your maximum credit limit. You agree not to present your Card or obtain a cash advance for any extension of credit in excess of your available credit limit; however, if you do exceed your credit limit, you agree to make immediate payment sufficient to bring the balance below the credit limit. Certain purchases and cash advances require authorization prior to completion of the transaction. In some cases, you may be asked to provide identification. If our system is not working, we may not be able to authorize a transaction, even though you have sufficient credit available. Also, for security reasons, we may block the use of your Card in certain countries or geographic areas. We will have no liability to you or others if any of these events occur. Personal Identification Number (PIN). We may issue a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for use with your Card. This PIN is confidential and should not be disclosed to anyone. You may use your PIN and your Card to access your account, and all sums advanced will be added to your account balance. In the event a use of your PIN constitutes an Electronic Funds Transfer, the terms and conditions of your Electronic Funds Transfer Agreement may affect your rights. Promise To Pay. You promise to pay us in U.S. dollars for (a) all purchases, cash advances, and balance transfers made by you or anyone whom you authorize to use the Card; (b) all Interest Charges and all other charges or fees; (c) collection costs and attorney's fees as permitted by applicable law, and any costs incurred in the recovery of the Card; and (d) credit in excess of your credit limit that we may extend to you. Illegal Transactions. You agree that your Card and account will not be used to make or facilitate any illegal transactions as determined by applicable law; and that any such use will constitute an event of default under this Agreement. We may decline any transaction that we believe to be illegal under applicable law, including but not limited to any transaction involving or relating to any gambling activity. In addition, you may obtain cash advances from the Credit Union and from other financial institutions that accept MasterCard Cards, and from some automated teller machines (ATMs). To obtain cash advances from an ATM, you must use the Personal Identification Number (PIN) that is issued to you for use with your Card. You agree that you will not use your Card for any transaction that is illegal under applicable federal, state or local law. 2% CASH BACK REWARDS — You will earn 2% cash back rewards when you, or an authorized user, use your credit card to make purchases of products and services, minus returns or refunds. Buying products and services with your card, in most cases, will count as a purchase; however, the following types of transactions won’t count and won’t earn cash back rewards: balance transfers, cash advances and other cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges and fees of any kind.
