The number of employee participants in the conference will be mutually agreed upon in advance. Attendance by employees at such conferences during the employee's regular scheduled working hours shall be without loss of pay. Employees must receive advance approval to participate in and/or attend such conference. Such approval shall not be unreasonably denied.

Labor Management Conferences. A. The parties agree that meetings may be desirable for the purpose of discussing problems which may arise out of the operation of this Agreement and other issues of concern to either party.
Labor Management Conferences. The Company will compensate up to two (2) employees designated by the President of the Union for time spent, during such employee(s)’ working hours, in labor/management conferences held at the request of management. Each designated employee will be compensated at his/her appropriate rate of pay for time spent in such conferences. The President of the Union agrees not to designate any employee to attend such conference on such employee’s day(s) off or while such employee is on PTO/vacation or in any other such non-productive pay status. At the conclusion of each labor/management conference held at the request of management, each Union representative attending such conference shall initial a form prepared by the management representative which shall accurately reflect the time spent by each Union representative in such conference. Such form shall then be an official record of each Union representative's time for payroll purposes. The Union will be responsible for compensating (including reasonable travel time) Union- eligible employees who attend labor/management conferences held at the request of the Union.
