SUBJECT OF Clause Samples
The "SUBJECT OF" clause defines the main topic, scope, or subject matter that the agreement or a specific section of the contract addresses. It typically clarifies what goods, services, rights, or obligations are being discussed, ensuring that all parties understand the focus of the contractual provisions. For example, in a service agreement, this clause might specify the particular services to be provided or the project to be completed. Its core practical function is to eliminate ambiguity by clearly identifying what the contract or section pertains to, thereby reducing the risk of misunderstandings or disputes over the contract's intent.
